Statistical Treatment of Data

The researchers will use the weighted mean to assess respondents' views of retail store sales performance. A t-test for dependent means will compare mean scores before and after treatment to detect any gains. Frequency tables will organize survey data into tabular form to interpret responses and identify outliers, such as categorizing respondents' sales performance as low or high-performing with associated percentages.

STATISTICAL TREATMENT OF DATA

To interpret the data effectively, the researchers will employ the following
statistical treatment: the Weighted Mean, T-test, and Frequency table are the tools use
to interpret data.

1. Weighted Mean

This will be used to determine the assessment of the respondents with regards to the
sales performance of the retail stores.
∑𝑥
𝑥=
𝑛
2. T-test for Dependent Means
This will be used to compare the mean scores of the same group before
and after a treatment is given to see if there is any observed gain, or
when the research design involves two matched groups.

𝑥1 − 𝑥2
𝑡=
√ 𝑠2 + 𝑠2
𝑛1 𝑛2

3. Frequency Table

It is a tabular representation of a survey data set used to organize and

summarize the data. It helps researchers to organize and summarize the survey
data in a tabular format, to interpret the data, and to detect outliers in the
survey data set.
