Bulbugan National High School Science Department celebrated Science Month/School Based

Pantas Agham by carrying the theme AGHAMAZING BULHIGH DAY 2109“Science for the People:
Innovations and Interventions for Sustainable Development”. The celebration was held last
September 04, 2019 and was highlighted with an opening program. Marichiel Mascariñas, Master
Teacher II and Marciano S. Atienza, Jr., Principal II, discussed the theme exhaustively to the students.
The mechanics of different contests/activities were discussed also. Right after the program, an array of
activities were conducted as such as Collage Making, From Trash to Treasure, Mobile Legend
Game and SYMBO Game. The students really enjoyed participating all the activities.

The celebration was also highlighted with the Modelling of Trash. The contest is exclusively
joined by Special Science Class students from Grades 7-10. Recyclable materials like plastics were
used to design a gown, then they selected one female from their class to wear the outfit made from
trash and did a fashion model at the stage.

The students energetically filled with enthusiasm enjoyed the SYMBO Games. The students
made their own SYMBO Card by writing the symbols of the elements. The games ended up late in the
afternoon and prizes were awarded to the winners.
