PROGRAMME PROPOSAL AND LOGISTICS

Programme : Company Profiling: A Closer Look To Effective Management

Date and Time: November 23, 2019 @ 1:00pm-8:00pm

Venue: Bicol Food Delights Function Hall, Legazpi City

I. Rationale

The Course Program, Master and Management and MM major in Human


Resource Management, aims to have an in-depth understanding of the concepts and
principles underlying organizational structures and management and to relate the theories
in management by providing solutions at cases at hand by applying the theories,
principles, and dynamics in the corporate system. With that, the MM and MMHRM
students will be conducting a culminating activity to be able to discuss organizations’
profile, current cases, and status. The students will be identifying common or causal
issues of different organizations and more significantly, elucidates hidden or not so
obvious issues that would otherwise be overlooked. Moreover, the students will identify
where the interlinked relationships occur, if there is any.
The activity will be held outside the university particularly in BFD Function Hall,
Legazpi City for the students’ convenience. The said venue is also considered for a more
formal ambiance as well as more professional slant.

II. Objectives

The Culminating Activity aims to present the best practices, issues, and concerns
of selected organizations and provide insights and recommendations on how to address
the issues.

III. Participants

The program is targeting 36 students of Bicol University Graduate School; 21


students enrolled in Human Resource and Management subject under Dr. Emily Agonos
and 20 students enrolled in Management of Organization subject under Dr. Melinda De
Guzman (5 students enrolled to both subjects)
