PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. GENERAL INFORMATION

PROEJCT TITLE: Hey Barbara: A Blast from The Past

TARGET VENUE: Dr. Ricardo Arcilla Hall, Bicol University College of Sciences

TARGET PARTICIPANTS: AB – Philosophy students of Bicol University College of


Social Sciences and Philosophy

PROPONENTS: First Year AB Philosophy students

II. RATIONALE

It has been a tradition for the philosophy department of BUCSSP to have an


annual kick-off party for its graduating class. And this year, the AB Philosophy 1 students would
like to continue this tradition and dedicate the event to the department’s graduating class of AY
2018-2019. The kick-off party aims to (1) develop the social capacity and skills of philosophy
students (2) to commemorate the legacies of the graduating class (3) to celebrate their various
achievements and (4) to give tribute to their hard work and perseverance on their four long
years of stay at the department. The said event will be held this 8th day of March 2019, 5 pm at
the Arcilla Hall, CSSP.

III. OBJECTIVES

2. To recreate situations that requires cooperation and teamwork between the members.
3. To promote resourcefulness, social responsibility, leadership and creativity.
4. Develop the skills of the students on how to solve the conflicts and misunderstanding
between groups.

IV. WORK SPECIFICATION


This activity is headed by the YPS First Year Representative together with the
class of first year students and its class officer. The following committees will be formed to
facilitate the conduct of the different components of the activity namely:
