Pump Slave MICRO Parameters PDF

This document provides instructions for setting up and configuring an iQpump Micro network. It includes: 1) A network configuration diagram showing how to wire the drives together using shielded communication cables. Each drive must have a unique serial address. 2) A 7-step process for manually setting up the network that involves wiring, setting serial addresses, programming controller parameters, recycling power, and verifying communication. 3) Default parameter settings for configuring the individual iQpump Micro drives on the network.

iQpump Micro Network Quick Start Instructions:
Note: Follow these instructions to setup your iQpump Micro network manually.

Step 1:
Wire all iQpump Micro drives according to the network configuration diagram (R+/R-/S+/S-) as shown on the first page of
this report.
Use shielded communication cables to connect all iQpump Micro drives.
Step 2:
Set Serial communication address parameter H5-01 for each iQpump Micro drive as shown on the first page of this report.

Step 3:
Program each iQpump controller parameter P9-25 (Highest Node Address) to: X
Step 4:
Program each iQpump controller parameter P1-01 (Pump Mode) to 3:
Step 5:
Recycle power to ALL iQpump Micro drives on the network.
Step 6:
Check U9-02 and verify that :
- No iQpump Micro drives have a value of "- 0"
- All iQpump Micro drives receive valid data and U9-02 changes regularly.
- At least one iQpump Micro drive has the unit , while the rest have the unit .

If there is an iQpump Micro drive with "- 0":

- Check communication wiring as shown on first page of this report
- Verify the serial communication address (H5-01) as shown on first page of this report
- Confirm P9-25 and P9-27 settings on all drives. P9-25 should be set to the highest H5-01 address and atleast one
iQpump Micro drive should have P9-27 = 0.
- Cycle power to all iQpump Micro drives.
Step 7:
Program each iQpump Micro drive on the network using the parameter list shown on the next page.

Step 8:
Verify pump rotation using hand mode operation. If rotation is incorrect, power-down the iQpump Micro drive and wait 5
minutes. Using Safety precaution, swap any two of the three output leads to the motor (U/T1, V/T2 and W/T3).
After the wiring change recheck motor direction using hand operation.

Step 9:
Ready to run pump system.

Digital operator control:

- Press Auto button on ALL the digital operators to initiate Auto mode operation.
Contact / Terminal Control:
- Close run contact on terminals on all iQpump controllers to initiate Auto mode operation.
