At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to do the following with at least 80% success:
1. Identify the perimeter of a polygon.
2. State the rule for finding the perimeter of a polygon.

A. Preparatory Activity:

Motivation:
What do farmers do to protect their land and property? -They put a fence around their lot

How does one find the perimeter of a plane figure?

Paste cut out figures on the board.

What figures can you see on the board?

Now, what do you call these figures? -Polygons

does the perimeter of one of the triangles relate
to the perimeter of the rectangle? Why?
