COMPETENCY : THINGS IN CLASSROOM

Date and Time : Tuesday, 16th 2019

Grade : IV (Four)

Subject : English

Teaching Hour : 10 minutes

Number of Meeting : 1st Meeting

Time Allocation : 1x10 minutes

Basic Competence : Recognizing things in the classroom

Indicator : Explaining objects colour and name exist in class

Purpose : At the end of the lesson, students are expected to know the names of
objects in the class in English.

Main Topic : Things in the Classroom

Sub Topic :

1. The names of things in the classroom


2. The colors of things in the classroom
3. Spelling the name of things in the classroom

Tutorial Method : Interactive Lecturing, Demonstration, Question and answer

Teaching Scenario :

1. Opening : Greeting and praying , then presence the students.


2. Main activitvy :
a. Apperseption :
1. The teacher asks students to show the items that are brought to
school
2. The teacher asks students to to name the items
3. The teacher tells students that they will learn about things in the
classroom
b. Presentation :
1. The teacher asks students to name things in the classroom
2. The teacher shows a picture of things that the student has mentioned
3. The teacher mentions the names and spell of the things in the picture
later students repeat it after him.
4. Students are asked to mention the color of the things in the picture
by raising their hands
5. The teacher asks students to mention the things in the class that have
not been mentioned before in Indonesian
6. The teacher mentions the name of the things in English, students
repeat it after him
7. Students mention the color of the things together
c. Evaluation : Display names of things outside the classroom in the school area
d. Follow up : Concluding the material
3. Closing : Greeting, Praying, and give spirit the student.

Board, marker, chalk, table, chair, bookshelve, projector, globe, calendar, clocks.
3. Things outside the classroom
Flag, mading, dust bin, sink, flower pot.

1. This is a white board
2. This is a black pen
3. This is a brown chair
4. This is a brown bookshelve
Spelling the name of things
1. Board : B-O-A-R-D
2. Table : T-A-B-L-E
3. Chair : C-H-A-I-R
4. Calendar : C-A-L-E-N-D-A-R
5. Clock : C-L-O-C-K
