“An act of giving is sharing the blessings I have in my life”

Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more
- H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Every Sunday, when I go around the town, I always see beggars, a combination of old
people and disabled people on the streets with their cups. It makes me so sad when I see them there
all day sitting and begging for some coins. If I have coins in my wallet or pocket, I try to put some
on their cups and say “God bless you po”. But sometimes, when I have bread or biscuits or some
other food, I give it to them. I am just a student but it will not exempt me from serving others and
sharing what I have to them specifically for the people who are in need. This act of giving is just
returning the help or sharing the blessings God gave me in my life. I may not be as rich as other
people, but I have my own ways to help other people. It makes me happy, because I know I make
them happy also. I have changed someone else’s life and at the same time I changed my life’s
perspective.
Give even when you have nothing else to share even the last thing you have, because God
will provide for you. God will give something more to what you give.
Whatever our status in life, all may become a volunteer, that will continue to share our
lives for the betterment of the society where we belong. We will continue to make changes and
create happiness and give hope to the hopeless. We will teach you on how to love world, love life
and love yourself.

This world was created beautifully because of the beautiful life that God has given to each
individual. Dare to make a difference, change for the better. Care for yourself and for your love
ones. Share your life to your community, even a few minutes of it, share faith, hope and love to
those in need.
