Your Destination Expert
Hi! I am Mamisoa. Travelling, beyond simple holidays, is the promise of moments of pure escape made of
discovery, heartwarming meetings, and unforgettable memories.
Madagascar, the Red Island, is definitely the promised land for such an inspiring adventure. Born and
currently living in that lovely island, I fell in love with its biodiversity, its history and its inhabitants’
hospitality discovered during tens of years spent on exploring each part of its wonderful regions.
After studying English language, I got involved in a Master Program specialized in Engineering in Cultural
and Leisure Tourism and worked for an anglophone company at the same time. Besides, I passionately
accompanied travelers who were seeking for visiting a welcoming multicultural country embellished by a
unique and fascinating nature along with preserved historical sites and captivating sceneries.
Thanks to that enriching experience which enabled me to share my passion for traveling with English and
French-speaking people, I will design well-organized and tailor-made trips for you to discover what my

DAY 02
This day, you will make a visit of the nice Ranomafana Na-
tional Park. An experienced local guide, that you can easily
book on the spot, will lead you during your today's hike to
discover the place which hides the most diverse plant species
of Madagascar. You can choose the type and the duration of
walk.
This park, of which the surface consists of granite, is
stretched over 39,222 acres with many waterfalls between the
rock formations. The climate is tropical with rainfall of 2700
mm per year and the park holds at least 12 species of lemurs,
about 70 species of reptiles and amphibians along with 90
species of butterflies. This tropical rainforest is known for its
different types of half-monkeys, such as Hapalemur Dore, the
Grand Hapalemur griseus and Hapalemur, but you'll also find
many chameleons and other micro-organisms and lots of
beautiful flora.
This day, your driver guide will drive you to the Ambalavao
village. You will be first driven through Fianarantsoa, which
also means "the city where you learn good manners". It is
the capital of the Betsileo ethnic group, and the city of 1001
churches. Fianarantsoa has its remarkable old town, which
stays on the list of the world heritages to be maintained.
Then, you arrive in Ambalavao after having crossed a bend-
ing road and a landscape characterized by agricultural
vocation, particularly of rice farming and vineyards. Ambal-
avao is known for its weekly zebu market. Here, you have
the possibility to visit the small manufacture of the "An-
taimoro paper", still made by hand and using the traditional
methods of the old Egypt, a workshop you can visit at your
hotel.
Full day dedicated to visit the Isalo national park! This park covers
80,000 hectares and consists of a series of elongated rock forma-
tions. Animals that can be seen here are the Fosa (fretkat), the
ring-tailed lemur, the sifaka and the brown lemur. Also, birds and
chameleons can be found in this beautiful park. Several excursions
through the national park are possible. One of these hikes will take
you to a magnificent natural swimming pool where you can just
relax. Furthermore, you can visit the "Canyon of makis" as well as
many other possibilities. Because you have a full day, it’s up to you
to choose which part of the park you want to visit. Park guides can
help you make the right choice.
In Ifaty, you will spend three free days, during which you
can relax on the beach or calmly swim because of the
coral reefs which protect this place. You will also be able
to book leisure activities on your own and as you want,
such as swimming in the turquoise sea, visiting fisher-
men village or snorkelling. The spiny forest is also worth
a visit with its giant Baobab trees.
