I. ISSUES/CONCERNS
The air pollution in Manila is significantly deteriorating day after day. Without proper
attention to this worsening matter, this problem would create heavier impacts on the city of
Manila and its people. There are many factors that contribute to air pollution in Manila such as
the constant carbon emissions produced by the many vehicles, the harmful toxins produced by
the factories, and various human activities causing harm to the environment. If these problems
persist in the society, it would greatly harm the state of the quality of air in Manila which would
have branching out negative effects such as damaging the environment, health hazards, and poor
quality of lifestyle. Thus this issue must be addressed immediately.
The Philippines is one of the developing countries around the world that deals with
investment to its neighbouring countries. But because of poor awareness and regulations, it
affects some investment needs. Emission charges offer less budgetary progress of achieving air
quality development. In this case, it puts the people in the Philippines works in polluted area that
could harn one self’s health condition that resulting of decreasing productivity. Improving the
health awareness of its labor force can create competitive edge.
Many countries in asia are developing their environmental awareness and policies for people
to understand what’s happening in their surroundings, Manila can also develop interms of
environmental issues, if only they will take an action and where to focus on. (Ambag R., 2018)
According to Krupnik A. (2003) The Philippines is a developing country competing with its
neighbors for needed Investments. Although environmental regulations may create some
disincentive for investment, Emissions fees offer less costly ways of achieving air quality
improvements. Moreover, the Philippine people are already laboring under pollution-caused
health conditions that lower Productivity; by improving the health of its labor force, the
Philippines may gain a competitiveedge. Even though many countries in Asia are adopting more
stringent environmental policies, Manila may stand to gain more, if only because it has some of
the worst air pollution in Asia.
II. ADVOCACY
Policy studies will be conducted to study the potentials of urban agriculture as well as the
issues and concerns affecting urban agriculture. These studies will then serve as the bases for
subsequent policy advocacy efforts at the local levels that will likewise be undertaken during the
duration of the program.
Vision
Envisions to increase the quality of air by bringing back the natural green environment into
urban settings.
Mission
To establish a connection to natural environment and find ways of addressing disaster risks and
effects of pollutions.
III. PROGRAMS/PROJECT
IV. BENEFICIARIES
In a macro scale, urban agriculture can assist ease with increasing the issue of nourishment
shortage in focuses of populace. It can help lighten the issue and upgrade the excellence of
networks and homes. Most importantly, it can begin for the future an effective monstrous "city
cultivating" whose members have a change conduct and thinking design about creation of
nourishment, reusing of squanders, assurance of the earth, sustenance, cooperating, and respect
of work.

them:
As this study makes an action in accordance to the propose having a good quality of air here
in Manila, this will definetly take some effort and contribution of different people that will
benefit to this. By which it is supported also with budget because as day goes by to perform or to
take some action to this it should be supported financialy to have a better results which those
financial support need is coming from a fund raising that includes this study. Here are the some
of materials/equipment needed listed:
Gardening materials including all the production of plants, for setting up an seminar that talks
about the quality air awareness, it should need soundsystem, activities needed in cleaning and
etc.
Those listed materials/equipment is inclusively needed for as long as this study works.
Lastly, all the documents and the works that will be done is going to be documented for its proof
of having just-fair calculations.
VI. FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES
To increase visibility and support for raising funds, advocating for clean air quality and
environment through urban gardening is the possible course of action. The researchers will
be addressing the concerns about air and environment quality, and advocate for
improvements through urban gardening. This may raise a substantial amount of money for
the cause, and may have donors whose contributions allow us to continue our work to
advocate and educate about urban gardening’s advantages on our environment.
