SCJP Manual

This document is a letter from an export compliance department to an importer requesting that they return two completed forms - an End User Certificate and a Technology & Software Release Form. These forms are required by the U.S. Bureau of Industrial Security to export jeep parts and manuals that can be used for both military and civilian vehicles. Completing and returning these forms will allow the company to fulfill export documentation obligations and process any future orders from the importer without delays.

Re: End User Certificate and Technology & Software Release Form

Thank you for your order. We have become aware of changed documentation rules for
export to you. Please return the enclosed forms via mail.

The U. S. Bureau of Industrial Security regulates the export of parts that are used to
maintain military vehicles and the printed technical manuals that relate to military
vehicles. Often these parts are interchangeable between military and civilian jeeps.
For this reason we request that our customers outside the U.S. have on file the
documentation that may be appropriate for future orders. Our intent is to maintain this
export documentation in our office so that future orders are not delayed by incomplete
paperwork.

Included in this fax is a Form BXA-711, U.S. Bureau of Information Security, End User
Certificate. We need this original form filled out, signed, dated and returned to our office
before we can ship you parts that go on both military and civilian jeeps. A faxed copy
does not meet the regulation. The document is your assurance that your use of military
parts will comply with U.S. law. This is a blanket certificate and will remain in force for
any future personal purchases of military jeep parts.

The second form is a sample Technology & Software Release Form. This covers any
printed material that relates to military vehicles.

With these two forms returned to our office, we will be able to process any future orders
that you may place with us for your described use. Both parties will have fulfilled the
export documentation obligation under current U.S. export regulations. Thank you for
your understanding and cooperation.
