Device description

Device description
SICAM P850 is a new multifunctional device and is used to
collect, display and transmit measured electrical variables
such as AC current, AC voltage, power types, harmonics, etc.
The communications interfaces can be used to output the
1
measurands to a PC and the control center or display them
on a display.

Applications
SICAM P8505 device is used in single-phase systems, three-
phase systems and four-phase systems (with neutral conduc-
tors). It is used primarily in power utilities, but also in other
industrial and commercial applications.

The web server integrated into the device is used to config- 2

ure the parameters and output measured values via HTML
pages on a connected PC / laptop. In devices with displays,
the parameters can also be configured with the function keys
on the front of the device, and the measured values can be
output to the display. The output variables can also be
transmitted to control or other systems such as SICAM PQS
V8.01 via the communications interfaces (Ethernet, e.g., Fig. 2/18  SICAM P850
