My own ending for the story

The Necklace

I want to end the story in a win-win situation. After Madam Forestier discovered
on what happened to her necklace, she will return the replaced one to M. and Madam
Loisel and asked only the exact value of her lost necklace. Madam Forestier can also
give them the exist money they paid in buying the new necklace as replacement for the
lost one. They deserve to have it and used it for their own good since they’ve work for
ten years just to pay all their debt and it wasn’t that easy. Their hard works were
immeasurable. Instead of enjoying life, they’ve suffered and focus their selves in doing
works to pay their debt about more than $30,000 wherein the lost necklace only worth
$500. They deserve to have it back.
 The Last Judgment
Lesson

Even we are still living in the world; we are already being judged not by judges
literally who work in the Supreme Court but the people themselves. We are being
judged by the people that surround us. Their judgment based on what they knew, see
and hear from oneself. But the judges who will judge us for our last judgment are
different, when it comes to judging either bad or good have no exception as long as you
commit sin. So we have to disregard what other people say, we have to live in what we
think is good and right. Have faith and love to Him, so we will be guided into the correct
pathway we will be heading. And to avoid of doing negative which may result in
misleading your life direction and righteousness.
 The Necklace
Reflection

Person with the characteristic of having without satisfaction in life may result in
an odd situation at the end. The story entitled The Necklace was a great story because
it shows and gives many lesson, as well as it relates to real life. People now a day were
more on material (materialistic) rather than valuing the life and nature they have. As I
read the story, at first I was too frustrated on how Mathilde behave. Though she has the
beauty but no wealth, she must e thankful and grateful in the chance to witness the
beauty of life. All she think is herself, as long as she’s happy, she doesn’t care who
suffers. She was so lucky to have an understanding, forgiving and supporting husband.
Anything that makes her happy, were given willingly by her husband. As a woman
natural to us wants to look beautiful in others eyes, but we should consider as will our
status, if we really do can afford it and cannot affect or bother anyone. Be considerate
enough, how can you spend the money for luxurious things wherein your husband was
working so hard to earn that money for your daily needs. Spending so much money for
just one night occasion is a waste of money, it wasn’t necessary. If you can’t buy then
you can borrow to your friends but of course you have to take care of it don’t be so
reckless since it wasn’t yours. As Mathilde was the one who lost it and she was
responsible for the thing she borrowed, still she and her husband suffered the
consequences. They’ve work for 10 years just to pay all they have debt just for the
replacement of the lost necklace which only cost 500 francs. But it turns out that their
hard work was wasted, they replace the lost necklace 500 francs with more than 30,000
francs. How ridiculous wasn’t it!? That is why be contented of who you are and what you
are. Be happy on what God has given to you, everything was planned by Him. Be
patient and grateful for everything.
 The Last Judgment
Retell

There was a man named Kugler, he was a notorious murderer. He killed 9

people and the ninth was a policeman who tried to arrest him, but before dying the
police shoot 7 bullets towards Kugler and 3 of them were fatal causing to Kugler’s
unsuffering death. After Kugler died, his soul departed from his body and brought before
special court of three judges. The judges stated information about Kugler, as well as his
crimes and asked him if he plead guilty or not guilty. Kugler answered not guilty with
confidence. After hearing Kugler’s answer, judges call the first witness, as the witness
walked in, the judges arose from their seats. You know who was the witness? He was
the All Knowing God. The judges summoned Him for His testimony since he was the
supreme truth. The judges reminded Him to subject at hand rather than branch out into
particular, and disallow Kugler in interrupting the witness. The witness started His
statement, telling Kugler’s life of who he is, women he hooked up with and people he
got along with, the part of him being a good man as well as his bad deeds. Kugler’s real
name is Ferdinand Kugler a son of a factory worker. Kugler loved his mother dearly but
unable to show resulting him being unruly and defiant, and annoys everyone as well. He
has negative relationship to his father. He often scolded as if he always made mistakes
like when Kugler had stolen a rose from notary garden and has given to Irma, being
together with people who were negative influence to him like Rudy Zaruba who was a
thief and inveterate liar, and old Gribble a drunkard and idler living on handouts. Kugler
at fourteenth was became a drunkard himself and often ranaway, that caused eaely
death of his father because of grief and worries. His mother’s eyes faded from crying
and his sister never get married because of the dishonor Kugler brought to their home.
His sister Martha lives alone and in poverty, sewing until late each night. It exhaust her
patronizing costumers and scrimping the money she earned is sewing. Kugler asked
Him what does her sister Martha doing right now. The witness answered him that
Martha was on Wolfe’s shoip buying thread, which reminded Kugler about the colored
marble he bought on that shop when he was 6 years old. Which on the same day he
lost it never found it. Out of curiosity, Kugler asked Him on what happened to the
marble. The witness said that the marble rolled into the drain under the gutter spout and
after thirty years, the marble was still there and shivering in the gush of cold water.
Kugler cannot believe on the revelation he just heard. But suddenly after a long time,
the presiding judge fitted his spectacles and asked mildly the witness if the accused
committed murder. The witness nodded and stated the crimes Kugler did
chronologically. Kugler murdered 9 people, first during his prison time, the second victim
was his unfaithful sweetheart where he was sentenced to death but escaped. The third
was an old man whom he robbed, and the forth was a watchman who left 6 children
behind him. The fifth and sixth victims were old married couple, killed with an axe and
found only $16 although they have $20,000 in total hidden away. Kugler jumped up in
shock as he heard this, and asked where the old couple could have hidden such big
amount of money. He simply answered that it was hidden in linen sock inside the
mattress where all the money old couple acquired from greed and penny-pinching. The
witness continued in Kugler’s crimes, the seventh victim was killed in America who was
a countryman of his, a bewildered and friendliness immigrant. But Kugler wasn’t paying
attention anymore, his thoughts focused only on the straw mattress of old couple where
their $20,000 was hidden. Still He continued, the eighth man he murdered was merely a
passenger who happened to be in his way when he was trying to outrun the police.
Then the ninth and last was the policeman who killed exactly when Kugler shoot him.
After hearing those crimes, the presiding judge asked why did the accused commit
murder, the witness answered that it’s because of anger or desire for money; bothyn
deliberately and accidentally, some with pleasure and others from necessity. However,
Kugler was generous and often helpful, kind to women and gentle with animals and
always kept his words. But the presiding judge said that it is not necessary to mention
Kugler’s good deeds. Then judges withdrew out from the court to talk about the
sentence that Kugler will be facing after. While the judges were out, the All Knowing
God and Kugler remained the court room. Kugler asked Him who were those three and
he was answered that they were same as him people who were judges on Earth and
become judges as well now in other world. But Kugler was confused, how can’t He be
the judge since He knows everything. The All Knowing God answered that its because
He knew everything and His knowledge is infinite so he can’t possibly judge. Kugler
kept on asking why are they judging, the people who were judges on Earth. God
answered that it’s because man belong to man, and man wasn’t worthy of divine
judgment. Man deserves to be judged only by man. At that moment the three judges
returned from their deliberation, in heavy tones the presiding judge announced that
Kugler was sentenced to lifelong punishment in hell due to repeated crimes of first
degree murder, manslaughter, robbery, and disrespect for the law, illegally carrying
weapons and for the theft of a rose. Sentenced was to begin immediately.
 My Bestfriend

One afternoon, there was a dog abandoned nearby the riverside. It tried to jump
into the water, but there was a little girl named Shine who save him.

“What are you doing little one?” the girl asked.

The dog just look at her and wiggling its tail towards the girl’s side. Showing his
likes to the girl and wants to be adopted by her.

“You are so cute, how can I abandoned and leave you here alone.”

Hearing this, the dog’s eyes shone like the stars in the sky. Shine carried the dog and
took it to their house, and she named it with KOKONG since it was the name of her lost
dog before. At first, her mother never wanted to have pet because aside from its waste,
dog mostly ruin things. But shine didn’t stop convincing her mother.

“Please mother, look how adorable he is?

I will take care of him, I promised!”

“Fine, but she is your responsibility”, her mother replied.

“Yes mother don’t worry, thank you!” as she hugged he mother.

Shine was very happy, she went everywhere along with kokong. They mostly
spent their time together playing at the plaza. When unexpected thing happened. While
they are walking at Sta. Cruz Street, Shine didn’t notice that kokong went to different
direction as it went after the cat he saw earlier. She continued walking until she
reaches the plaza when she noticed that kokong wasn’t around.

“Kokong!”

“Kokong where are you?”

Shine kept on looking for kokong, hoping to see him anywhere. It was almost
evening still she haven’t found her dog. Many different things came in to her mind, the
possibilities that might happened if she won’t find kokong as soon as possible. She kept
on thinking and cannot stop her tear in falling down.

Kokong was lost. How can he find her? He barks and barks, looking for Shine as
well. But they didn’t find each other. The next weekend, Shine went to the plaza again
hoping see him there. She patiently waits and it was almost 6pm when she heard some
barking, as she turned around she saw kokong chained and being held by somebody.
Without hesitation, she went to the guy and said “Mr. Excuse me.”

The man looked at her. “Yes little girl how may I help you?”

“Can I ask you sir if this little one is your dog?” pointing at kokong.

“Not before, but now he is. Why?”

The man was shocked when Shine suddenly cried and tightly hugged the dog.
Now he realized that this young girl was the real owner of this dog.

“Ohh my little Kokong, how are you? I missed you so much I thought I won’t see you
again!”, she kept on crying. The man bent down and comforted Shine. He unlocked the
chain and let Shine carried the dog. She was very happy and grateful, so she invited the
man to their house for dinner to show their gratitude. From that moment, the stranger
and Shine became friends. Not long after, the stranger and her mother became close as
well and they started their relationship into the next level. Now they became one happy
family.
