I am delighted to inform you that I, Izellah Andrea R. Araneta - Grade Six Representative together with the Supreme
Pupil Government, in cooperation with the Office of the Student Activity Coordinator, plan to host a gift-giving
activity called “Bags Of Happiness (A Big-hearted Christmas Treat)” which will be held on December 13, 2019
(Friday). This activity involves the SPG members, SPG Adviser, Student Activity Coordinator and thirty (30) pre-
chosen less fortunate children.

The purpose of this activity is to practice the values we have learned in this institution, and at the same time, to be able
to share the blessings that we have received through the years. We would also like to take the opportunity to make
some children feel loved this holiday season.

In connection with this, I am respectfully asking for your approval to make this activity possible. Kindly see attached
proposal and other pertinent papers for your reference.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: Bags Of Happiness (A Big-hearted Christmas Treat)

30 Pre-chosen Less Fortunate Children

This holiday season, it makes sense to pause for a moment and think about the real
purpose of giving gifts. On a basic level and on certain occasions like birthdays,
anniversaries, dinner parties, especially on Christmas --- it is customary.
Underlying that custom is an important purpose: APPRECIATION. We give people gifts to
RATIONALE: show them that we are grateful for them and value the role they play in our lives. In this
activity, we intent to let a small group of less fortunate children to experience the feeling
of how to be appreciated and acknowledged --- not for what they do, status or
accomplishments --- but just for being who they are. There is no better way to make a
child feel loved but to make them feel special.

The gift-giving activity is a 90-minuite fun-filled experience wherein the SPG Members will
prepare a short program of games, song and dance numbers. The activity will end with
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
grazing a simple meal and distribution of the “bags of happiness” to
the less fortunate children.

We hereby certify that this activity will imbibe the true value of appreciation, love and respect for people from all walks of
life. This will also promote the importance of a happy childhood and its positive effects in one’s well-being.

1. Assigned SPG members will usher the children to the venue of the activity and have them lined up for the registration.
2. The children will be asked about their details such as name, date of birth, age, address, name of parents, contact number.
3. Name tags will be distributed and seats will be assigned respectively.
