STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My decision to pursue graduate study in Germany is underscored by my desire to be a part of the


graduate program at your University. University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg -Weingarten
offers the flexibility needed for such a vast and rapidly changing field. The research facilities and
the faculty at the university are par excellent. My interest in electronics and information technology
blossomed during my secondary education. I feel it’s quite fascinating how the invasion by radio,
television, telephone and cellular technology has transformed the face of communication and, in a
sense, shrunk in the vicinity of many parts of the globe. Technology, today means power in the
widest sense of the term and not merely the power of mind. And it is this power potential that has
given it the status it now enjoys. I believe education is an investment that will reap rich rewards in
the future and will never go waste. So one has to make wise decision in life for which he may not
have to repent in the future, therefore I chose to study in Germany to gain the kind of exposure
that I require to grow and succeed in every sphere of life.

As a student from science background my interest grew way back in class 10th with my science
subjects. In class 11 I opted for computer science with physics chemistry and mathematics. During
my higher secondary education I learnt languages like C, C++, MS-SQL, and Boolean algebra.
These days computers are the most important part of our life, I encouraged myself making
fascination to probe into the area of networking in context of worlds interconnected systems with
Computers. Along with computers I also took keen interest in Electronic device and Circuit,
Electrical Technology, Network analysis, microprocessors and microcontrollers, digital and
analog circuits. This inspired me to go for a course which combines the study modules of both the
major engineering fields. Fortunately Ravensburg University of Applied Sciences offers the course
which soothes my interest.

Germany, Land of Researchers and Inventors is one of the most highly developed industrial and
advanced information technical nations in the world. With the land of Ideas, Engineering,
Computer Science, Automobile and Education plays a central role, here which is highly preferred
by the International students. It is also a hub of cutting-edge international research and a constant
source of new innovation and techniques in Information technology, Software Engineering and
Languages along with proper management and technological advancements. In Germany,
education system is highly acknowledged due to big infrastructure, friendly atmosphere, edge-
cutting teaching methodology with class innovation and practical emphasis on Software
Engineering .It is the country of innovative ideas coupled with innovative technology used in
making world best softwares, languages coding because of these reasons I have chosen Germany
as country where research is not only done but its taught and implied with improvisation.

As far as my academics are concerned I have done my schooling from Chhattisgarh, India . I am
willing to take Electrical Engineering and Information technology as my major in the
undergraduate program. During the course of the study at Ravensburg, I will learn various subjects
like Computer Networks, Java and Data Structures, and will learn basics of Analog and Digital
Electronics and basic Information communication Engineering. My Academics expertise is visibly
seen from the fact that I got 8.2 GPA during my higher secondary education in India. I took
additional courses in programming languages like C, C++ and Basic Java as Extra Training. I have
scored 6.0 Bands in IELTS as my English proficiency.

The Reason for choosing Ravensburg- Weingarten is its highly accomplished courses inviting lot
of interest that too very keenly to see the purview of getting world research based education system
which invites lot of foreign nationals for Industry based driven class baccalaureate. The class
education in Engineering Science technology and Applied Science makes initiative for excellence
in all necessary fields. With base technological and research work having notion with all practical
world applications, your University has a built its own renowned repute. I got to know about your
University from internet and from then I started exploring the highs and depths with pros and Cons
on every important point related with my career. I firmly believe that this program will further
develop my skills and equip me with all the necessary tools to further enhance my knowledge and
understanding of relevant theories and be able to execute them according to my fashion to turn my
idea into a revolution. I am certain that my future job prospects would amplify to a great extent
along with my aptitude and my competency which would surely enhance upon successful
completion of this program.

Education overseas brings both professional as well as personal benefits. It provides the
opportunity to benefit from education of the highest standards and to interact with academics,
researchers and students from other cultures. It is an opportunity to broaden horizons and gain
international perspective that will help me build good rapport with my employers in future. This
degree would surely equip me with the industry relevant experience. I firmly believe that this
programme will further develop my skills and equip me with all the necessary tools to further
enhance my knowledge and understanding of relevant theories and be able to execute them
according to my fashion to turn my idea into a revolution. I believe that my aptitude and my
competency will surely enhance upon successful completion of this programme. It would be a
great pleasure and honor for me if given a chance to ensue my graduate studies at your highly
esteemed institution. I hope that you will find in me a deserving and creditable student for your
bachelors programme.
