Reza, an ancient fabric from northwestern India that was on the verge of extinction, was revived in 2014 by Lalita. She researched the traditional weaving techniques by speaking with elderly artisans. Lalita set up an enterprise called Reza by Lalita to produce Reza fabric and train women in weaving. Over 650 women have now been trained in spinning, weaving, and crafting traditional patterns on Reza fabric. The revival of Reza has helped preserve an important part of the cultural heritage of Haryana.
