Fev Tutoring

PSUSD provides free online tutoring through FEV Tutor for all students in various subjects. Students can access tutoring on demand or schedule sessions in advance using their student ID and birthday as login credentials on the FEV Tutor website. FEV Tutor also offers pre-tests to create individualized learning plans and supports communication between tutors and students regarding teaching styles. Teachers can monitor student progress through reports on the FEV Tutor dashboard.

FEV Tutoring Information

PSUSD has free online tutoring for students in math as well as other subjects. All students are registered in
the free tutoring service. All they need to do is sign in! Below are instructions and information from Dianna, our
rep.

Login instruc ons for STUDENTS:


Visit the website www.fevtutor.com

○ Log in with username and password


○ Username: [email protected]
○ Password: Birthday (mmddyyyy) - exclude zeros before the month/day
■ Example: If student ID is 1315009856 and the DOB is 08/03/2006, then the
○ Username is: [email protected]
○ Password is: 832006

Students can access tutoring On Demand by clicking "Request an On-Demand Session" or they can
preschedule sessions in advance. FIV can also work with teachers who choose to set students up with regular
tutoring sessions by simply emailing the Support address with the student name and preferred days/times for
tutoring.

***FEV also provides students with a pre-test that they can take right in the dashboard before they start
tutoring. This helps us to create individualized learning plans for the students based on their area of need.

***Let Students Know: One thing to let students know is that a tutor's teaching style may be different so make
sure the student shares what he learned in class with the tutor before the session so he/she can follow the
same process with the students.

Students and families can also contact FIV directly. We have a Family and Student Engagement Team
here at FEV Tutor that works with our students and families who tutor from home and can reach out personally
to any students that teachers recommend to help get them set up with a schedule. The informational video

TEACHERS can pull student reports: FEV Tutor dashboard to track student progress at your site. You can
let them know- it's as easy as logging into www.fevtutor.com with your username and password to pull student
reports

Support for Spanish Speaking Students: FEV does not have Spanish speaking tutors. However, they do
have a built-in language toggle on the screen that allows students to toggle the contact on the screen and
in the chat window between English and the language chosen by the student.
