CBSE Class 11 Physics Worksheet - Thermal Properties of Matter

This document is a physics worksheet containing 9 questions about thermal properties of matter. It covers topics like thermometers for high temperatures, specific heat of gases, trade winds, how skating is possible on snow, the behavior of a bimetallic strip with ice, using a platinum resistance thermometer to measure temperature, Newton's law of cooling, calculating temperature increase to expand a brass rod by 1%, and determining the coefficient of linear expansion of copper using data from a pendulum clock. The questions range from 1 to 5 marks and students are instructed to show explanations for answers where applicable.
