Responsibilities  Manage and support Application Environments for testing
portfolio.
 Identifying technology limitations and constraints related to
performance, storage space, hardware issues of application
or systems and coordinating with Infrastructure team by
raising incidents through BMC remedy tool.
 To keep track of Non-prod environment limitations/known
issues in comparison with production environment.
 Environment Maintenance and Health Check Monitoring.
Liaise with TCoE if there are environment issues. For CAT
ENVs (INT1 and INT2), app manager will be communicated
if any issues in environment.
 Prepare and maintain environment and operational related
documents.

Main Duties  Analyze Test and Debug the defects raised in the
application environment by checking the logs generated or
by using the testing tools and reporting to the respective
teams.
 The workaround/fix for the defects/issues and will be
deployed in the environment by coordinating with
Application and Infrastructure teams.
 Changing Logging levels to support different testing
scenarios (detail level, production level, Audit logging
threshold).
 Perform sanity test post OS and DB server
upgrades/patches/deployment done in the environment.

Skill and Experience  Extensive experience of IBM WebSphere, Oracle , Unix


Requirements technology to Manage Environment Issues
 Performed few configuration changes, scripts generations to
fix the environmental related issues. Having experience of
seven years in environment maintenance.

 Handy experience in BMC remedy with ITIL process to


manage incidents, change request and problem incidents for
four years.

 HP QC tool is being used to track the defects and raising


TECRs to get the outage of the application services stop
and start.
 Maintaining the TECR documents with date, version and
technology details implemented.
 ability to conceptualize and think creatively

 an understanding of user needs and a business outcome
