Scavenger Hunt #2

Directions: For your first photo shoot of 2020 you will be going on a scavenger hunt. You will need to find interesting
examples of the items listed below. I expect you to carefully consider each item prior to shooting. These items are meant
to build your skills of seeing (actually looking) things in your surroundings more carefully as well as to develop your
artistic senses. These items also contain various elements & principles of design in order for you to be aware of how these
fundamentals work within a composition.

Shoot as many examples as you would like. Pick your best shot for each prompt. You may not shoot the same photo as
anyone else in the class!!

HERE IS WHAT TO SHOOT:

___1. Photo that shows a shallow depth of field


___2. Photo that shows movement
___3. Photo that uses a fast shutter speed
___4. Photo that uses a slow shutter speed
___5. Photo that uses the rule of thirds
___6. Photo that illustrates the concept of “winter”
___7. Photo that conveys emotion
___8. Photo that conveys the concept of “celebration”
___9. Photo that uses leading lines
___10. Photo that captures what you hope for 2020

Once you have taken all of your photos, follow these directions:

1. On your webpage and create a new page. Title your new page “Scavenger Hunt 2”.
2.Upload all ten of your photos.
3. Caption each photo with one of the above bolded words.
4. PUBLISH your work!!!!!

You will be graded on the following:


1. Includes all required portions
2. All photos are in focus!!!
3. All photos use good composition!!!
4. Creativity
5. Followed directions
