I. Objectives
A. Motivation
“Quotes explanation”
The teacher will ask the students to define what their personal
understanding on the quotes given to them:
B. Activity
“Pass it on”
The teacher asks the students to divide their class into four
groups asks each student to bring out a piece of paper, write
their name on it and pass it on to the person on their right which
in turn will write down their first impression on the person who
owns the paper.
C. Analysis
After presenting the learning objectives to the students. The
students will present the characters in the story and the will start
the discussion about “Driving Miss Daisy”
D. Abstraction
The students will answer the following questions:
1. Who is Daisy? How old is she?
2. What event led her to have a personal driver?
3. What kind of relationship would they have if Miss Daisy
continued to be impolite to Hoke?
4. Explain how important education is to a man. As a student,
what can you do in order to help or assist people like Hoke?
E. Application
The teacher asks the groupings from the first activity to make
their own slogan that shows support to being friendly.
IV. Evaluation
The teacher will ask the students will make a list of ways that they
can develop new friends. (at least 5)
V. Agreement
Create a letter to a fellow students whom you want to be your friend.
