STATE OF TEXAS F2075044 AFFIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT COUNTY OF Dallas BEFORE MB, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared the undersigned affiant who, after being duly sworn by me, on oath stated: My name is Chris Anderson #7788 end I am a peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. I, the affiant, heve good reason and do believe that on or about the Bth day of January, 20-20, one (name of suspect) Lacy. Leon, P: [did then and there in the City of Dallas, Dallas County, ‘Texas commit the offense of Murder, a violation of Section 19.02 of the Texas Penal Code, a First Degree Felony. ‘Affiant’s belief is based upon the following facts and information which Affiant received from: Affiant’s persoaal investigation ofthis alleged offense, . & fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, who personally participated in the investigation of this alleged offense, providing this information to Affiant, and whose information Affiant believes to be credible. On 1/8/2020, the suspect committed the offense of Murder against Parks, Callisha, B/F (Complainant), at 1300 Valley Street, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. This offense is documented on Dallas Police case number 05178-2020. Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at the 1300 block of Valley Street. On arrival the complainant was observed lying in a vacant grassy lot with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The complainant ‘was transported to Methodist Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A witness at the scene heard gunshots and observed the complainant running from a red Chevrolet SUV. The witness observed the same SUV following her after she was shot. There were .380 caliber fired cartridge casings recovered at the scene. ‘An SUV that matched the description was spotted nearby and an investigative stop was made. The driver was identified as Suspect Leon Lacy, A .380 caliber handgun was observed in plain view inside the SUV and the box of ammunition and rounds inside the weapon had the same headstamp, "Sig .380" as the casings found at the scone of the murder. ‘Suspect Lacy was interviewed at Dallas Police Headquarters and stated that he was in the arca looking for a girlfriend or wife, but denied his involvement in this offense.
