AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS
I, MERALUNA T. GLORIA, of legal age, married, Filipino, and a
resident of P-4, Brgy. Taruc, Socorro, Surigao del Norte, after being sworn to
in accordance with law, do hereby depose and state THAT:

1. I am one of the witnesses of the case filed against my common law


husband GREGIE R. ALABAT for Serious Physical Injuries;

2. I am here to testify in favour of my common law husband who


now stand as respondent and being held liable for the injuries
suffered by a certain ROY D. ARCULAR;

3. My husband is facing a false accusation against him; hence, I


strongly deny the allegations against him for being fabricated and
calumniatory, the truth of the matter is that:

4. On that faithful night of June 19, 2018 on or about 6:30 in the


evening, he was not in the vicinity of the crime because we,
together with our kid, were shopping used clothings at “Ukay-
ukay” store located at the Poblacion of the Municipality of
Socorro;

5. After our shopping at “Ukay-ukayan” at around 9:00 in the


evening, we went to our home; hence, it is very much impossible
that my husband was involved in the said trouble.

6. That I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the


foregoing facts and for whatever legal purposes this may serve.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 29 TH day


of July, 2018 at Surigao City, Philippines.
