5. Line Reactor
Wirings
1- Line Reactor Wiring with smart line module.
You have to connect 1U1 – 1V1 – 1W1 to your Circuit breaker of the
Energy network then you have to connect 1U2 – 2V1 – 2W1 to The
Smart Line Module.
Motor Wiring
In our case we have connected our motor’s orange cable to X1 plug
1, 2, and 3 for energy and 4(+) and 5(-) 24Vdc of brake control.

As the image inserted below we have Connect 24VDC (+) to terminal 1 and
24VDC (-) to terminal 4.
Then we can connect the PLC and Control Unite together via PROFINET.
Hardware Configuration:
1- PLC Side :
- Add new Control unite from PROFINET item ,SINAMICS item , S120
CU320 PN , Then V4.7 in our case.
- Press Start To Be Sure all the blocks and connection are compiled
and downloaded together.
- A text file would be appeared and in the end like this message should
be present

We Are Using SCOUT V4.5
- The Following image will appear with only Control Unit automatically
added.
- The following item will appear and here we can choose the type of
the Smart Line Module in our case 16 KW 6SL3130 -6TE21-6AA3.
Press Next
At the End of the Downloading the drive control unites would be ready to
commissioning.

Ramp function Generator Start
Set point Enable
For First start set a small value of the setpoint like 40 RPM of the
speed
Press Accept
Then Start.
Software settings
First of all you have to transfer the data of the PROFINET communication
between the PLC and The S7-120 unites inside DBs by using SFC14 and
SFC 15.
Jogging Operation -
5- Jog Backward
After set this signal the Servo motor would go to the target position
according to the velocity set point
