Below are IELTS speaking topics taken from part 2 of the test.

In this part of the test you are given one cue card (you cannot choose or change the
topic) and you have to speak about the topic on the card, using the prompts to guide
you, for two minutes.

Study the cards and the IELTS speaking topics so you can see what kind of things
you will need to talk about.

This will improve your speaking skills for this part of the test.

Describe a child that you know.

You should say:

Describe someone who has had an important influence on your life.

Explain why they have had such an influence on you.
