Bernoulli's Equation For Compressible Fluid Flow

This document discusses Bernoulli's equation for compressible fluid flow. It begins by stating that compressible flow is when fluid density can change during flow. It then derives Bernoulli's equation for compressible fluid flow using the Euler equation. The key points are: 1) For compressible flow, density is not constant, so the integral of dp/ρ is not equal to P/ρ. 2) Bernoulli's equation depends on the type of process - it derives the equations for isothermal and adiabatic processes. 3) For an isothermal process, P/ρ is constant, so the Bernoulli's equation is P/ρ = C1. 4) For an ad

We have already seen the derivation of continuity equation for compressible fluid flow in our previous post. We will
start here our discussion about the compressible fluid flow with the derivation of Bernoulli’s equation for compressible
fluid flow.

Compressible flow is basically defined as the flow where fluid density could be changed during flow.
