Kimble Brand KIMAX beakers provide strength and durability from top to bottom. Uniform sidewall and bottom thickness,
especially in the critical radius point of the heel area, provides excellent mechanical and thermal shock resistance. The
chemical and physical properties of KG-33 glass ensure high resistance to heat shock and chemical attack.

Borosilicate glass KIMAX-51 composition assures the best all-around chemical durability of commercial glasses now
available for laboratory ware. Complies with ASTM Specification E438, Type I, Class B glass requirements. KIMAX-51
has excellent chemical resistance against sodium leaching - a factor common in soda lime glass products. These are
premium quality tubes with sturdy, uniform bottoms and consistent lengths. The 10 and 12 x 75 mm sizes are suitable for
cell washing procedures. Tubes are packed in convenient trays for ease of use on bench tops and in drawers. The 10 and
12 x 75 mm sizes fit into Kimble 73510 stainless steel dispensers. The 6 x 50 mm size is often referred to as a “Durham
tube”. Trays are shrink wrapped in plastic film with tubes remaining in constant alignment for protection against in-transit
breakage and contamination. Designed from ASTM Specification E890.

Water Stills
• The Merit is the ideal choice for budget conscious laboratories that can’t afford to
compromise on quality
• It combines economy and high performance with a host of other features which
comparable stills cannot match
• Glass construction with long life metal heating element
• Two independent safety thermostats
• Wall mountable
• Output: 4 litres/hour, single distilled
The metal still cases are attractively finished in a durable powder coating.
Each still maybe wall, shelf or bench mounted. The still monitors the water
level in any reservoir to which you connect it, and controls the operation
of the still, turning it on and off as the water level changes in the reservoir.
Together with over-temperature and feed water supply failure protection,
this allows 24-hour unattended operation of all stills.
