A. INTRODUCTION
Pest like bihar hairy caterpillar is a destructive insect that attacks crops, food, livestock, and
etc. This pest is very common to all the farmers, Pest have a direct impact on agricultural food
production by chewing the leaves of crop plants, sucking out plants juices, boring within the roots, stem
or leaves and spreading plant pathogens. The damage caused by insects/pest is one of the primary
factors for reduced crop production. So many farmers suffer that problem, their income become low
because their plant are being affected by pest, so people don’t buy their plants because many of the
plants are affected by pest. There are hundreds of pest species and we all not know what other they
will bring. Many farmers are not able to buy or farmers cannot afford to buy a pesticides.
We researcher come up to an idea to create a organic pesticide. We will use siling labuyo, Garlic, and
Tigau leave so that the farmers will not spend lot of money to buy a pesticides to rid the pest on their
plants. The pesticide that we will make is not expensive, the materials that we will use in the juice is
very affordable. Farmers will afford the pesticide that we are making, you can see it in the surroundings
the materials that we will use. The pest will be lessen because of the materials that we will use.

B. GOALS/HYPOTHESIS
We researcher will make extract juice that will lessen the pest that affect the plants production.
Specifically:

1. To eliminate a harmful pest (Bihar Hairy Caterpillar)


2. To make the plants healthy and prevent the pest (Bihar Hairy Caterpillar) to harm
again.
3. To help farmers to not spend a lot of money to buy a pesticides.

HYPHOTHESIS
 Null Hypothesis
There is no significant relationship between the juice of Siling labuyo, Tigau leaves, and Garlic
to gid rid of the pest.

 Alternative hypothesis
There is significant relationship between the juice of Siling labuyo, Tigau leaves, and Garlic to
get rid of the pest.
METHODS

A. Procedures
Collection of materials for making Juice as Organic Pesticides.
 We prepare Blender for 1 bunch of Garlic, Leaves of tigau, 5 pieces of siling labuyo and Water
 And also prepare 2.5 liter of empty Spray bottle for juice that produced by Blended Siling labyu,
tigau and Garlic.

B. Preparation And Construction

 We prepare Siling labuyo, Garlic, Tigau Leaves as ingredients to make a juice.


 We will use blender to mix all the ingredients.
 We will use 2.5 liter empty spray to spray to the plant.

C. Testing Analysis

 We test our alternative organic pesticide in Jute Leaves (Corchorus olitorius) to prevent pest
that cause harmful effect in our plants.

D. Treatment

 Positive effect= Organic Pesticides


 Negative= Inorganic Pesticides
 Treatment 1= Siling labuyo, Garlic and Tigau leaves as juice
 Treatment 2= Siling Labuyo
 Treatment 3= Garlic
 Treatment 4=Tigau Leaves

E. Research Design

 Completely Randomized Design(CRD)

Statistical Analysis
We use analysis of variance (ANOVA) to test if the 3 variables are effective as a organic pesticide
