LIGA BOARD RESOLUTION NO.29 SERIES OF 2019

RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE GRANT AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED FORTY TWO


THOUSAND PESOS (142,000) AS BURIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE LATE BARANGAY
CAPTAIN IRISH ANN C. BARCELONA OF BARANGAY SAN MARTIN DEPORES, DISTRICT
4, QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, barangay officials and other appointive officials are entitled of benefits such
as honoraria, allowances and such other emoluments as may be authorized by law pursuant to
Sec. 393 paragraphs a, b, c, and d of R.A 7160 otherwise known as the 1991 Local
Government Code;

WHEREAS, the Liga Board deemed it right to provide burial assistance to barangay
elected officials to augment the benefits they are now receiving;

WHEREAS, the Liga Board mourns for the departed soul of Barangay Captain Irish Ann
C. Barcelona of Barangay San Martin Depores, District 4, Quezon City, who died on April 12,
2019;

WHEREAS, the late Barangay Captain Irish Ann C. Barcelona has been the backbone
in delivering the basic services to his constituents, to the Liga, and to Quezon City as a whole;

WHEREAS, the Liga Board uphold the services and recognizes the invaluable
contributions of the late Barangay Captain Irish Ann C. Barcelona;
WHEREAS, the Liga Board deemed it proper to extend their sympathy and help to the
surviving heirs of the late Barangay Captain Irish Ann C. Barcelona as burial assistance in the
amount of One Thousand Forty Two Thousand Pesos (142,000.00)

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE


LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY, QUEZON CITY CHAPTER, IN A SESSION DULY ASSEMBLED
TO RATIFY THE GRANT AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED FORTY TWO THOUSAND
PESOS (P142,000.00) AS BURIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE LATE BARANGAY CAPTAIN
IRISH ANN C. BARCELONA OF BARANGAY SAN MARTIN DEPORES, DISTRICT 4,
QUEZON CITY.

RESOLVED FURTHER, THAT THE AMOUNT BE LIQUIDATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH


THE AUDITING RULES AND PROCEDURES.

ADOPTED this 29th day of May at Liga Ng Mga Barangay Office 2nd Floor Legislative Building,
Quezon City.
