This master's thesis investigates unsteady, inviscid flows past moving and transforming solid boundaries using the cut-cell immersed boundary method. Three computational studies are conducted: (1) flow over an undulating airfoil, examining its propulsive capabilities at different wave parameters, (2) flow over tandem cylinders undergoing various motions, and (3) simulation of a radial stator flow with 40 blades. The cut-cell Euler solver is validated and its ability to handle complex moving boundary problems is confirmed. Various undulating foil propulsion modes are mapped and aerodynamic coefficients of oscillating cylinders are obtained.
