TASK PERFORMANCE

Instructions:

1. You may choose your groupmates for this activity or follow the assignment given by the instructor. Each
group should consist of no more than five (5) students.
2. Create an infomercial which will raise awareness about the importance of critical thinking in listening to
public speeches and the ethics of public speaking.
3. It is highly recommended to look for articles and interview credible individuals to gain insights for your
infomercial’s content. The said infomercial should run for a maximum of five (5) minutes and contain a
unique and catchy title or slogan.

Rubric for grading the infomercial:


Criteria Descriptions Points Score
The message reflects an understanding of the cause.
Content It is original, accurate, and interesting, and adequately addresses the 25
given topics.
Content Transmission The infomercial is motivational to audience, and is honest and definitive. 20
The infomercial follows fair use (all the materials used are properly
