A​ll praises and thanks are for Allaah alone, we seek 
His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from 
the evil within ourselves and the consequences of our 
evil deeds. Whoever Allaah guides will never be 
misguided, and whoever Allah leads astray will never 
find guidance.  
 
I (openly) testify (to the fact) there is nothing that has a 
right to be worshiped but Allah, alone without any 
partners, and I (openly) testify (to the fact) that 
Muhammad ‫​ا ​ ​و‬ is His servant and His 
Messenger. Allah the Exalted said (in which translates 
to mean)​: 
 
“O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be 
feared and do not die except as Muslims in submission 
to Him.” (3:102) 
 
And the Exalted said (in which translates to mean): ​“O 
mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one 
soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from

both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, 
through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. 
Verily, Allah is ever watching over you.” (4:1) 

And the Exalted said (in which translates to mean)​: “O 

you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of 
appropriate justice. He will then amend for you your 
deeds and forgive your sins, and whoever obeys Allah 
and His Messenger has certainly attained a great 
attainment.” (33:70-71) 

Verily, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, 

the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ‫ ​ا‬ 
‫ ​و‬, and the worst affairs are newly invented 
matters. Every newly invented matter is a religious 
innovation, and every religious innovation is 
misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire. 

To proceed: 

Dear parents, caregiver, and/or educator. The PDF 

between your hands is my humble contribution and 
(small) effort in the field of Da’wah, in shaa Allaah. 
With high hopes, aspirations and anticipation, I desire 
acceptance from Allaah.

youth (between the ages of 5-12) sent to our brother 
Abu Abdis Salaam Al-Juyaanee ‫​ا ​ور ه ​ ​ ​ ء ​و ه‬ , 
Imaam of Masjidul Bukharee by Shaykh Shihaab 
Al-Banna, son of shaykh Hasan Al-Banna (May Allaah 
preserve them both). The Shaykh sent these questions 
and answers with the intent and request of sharing 
them with the youth. 

Henceforth, due to the great benefit contained therein 

for the youth, that in which will give them a 
foundation upon the sound creed (in shaa Allaah), I 
decided to translate it, put it in PDF form and 
circulate it via online, in shaa Allaah. Also, a special 
thanks goes out to our brother Abu Suhayla of 
Synonymous Arts for his selfless efforts in designing 
the cover page and other designs in assisting the 
da’wah.​ ​Additionally, our brother Abu Bilal Fareed 
Nayeem for proofreading and editing.   

I hope by the permission of Allaah, that this PDF acts 

as a panacea for correcting and dispelling the 
corrupted creed of Ahlul bid’ah. A corrupted creed, 
which is ever prevalent today via the ​“internet 
scholars”​ and callers to the doors of the Hellfire in our

time, as the Messenger of Allaah ‫ ​ا ​ ​و‬ 
mentioned. They (Ahlul bid’ah) are those who 
relentlessly seek to confuse and mislead the youth. 

We also desire that this PDF acts as a refresher and 

reminder for the parents, caregivers, and educators 
alike, in the cultivation process of our youth. With 
your help (in circulating), we all can share in the 
reward. A reward, which can multiply like bacciferous 
trees, in shaa Allaah.

purpose of clarity. May Allaah accept it from me and 
make it beneficial for me after my demise and Allaah is

QUESTION​: How many pillars of Islaam are there, and 
what are they? 
ANSWER​: The Pillars of Islaam are five (5) and they 
are:  
❶To testify that nothing has a right to be
worshiped besides Allaah and that Muhammad is
the Messenger of Allaah. 
❷To establish the salaah (males at age of puberty
in the Masjid, and for the women - in their homes). 
❸To give the obligatory charity (2.5% of wealth
saved after one (1) year Islamic calendar if it
reaches the obligatory amount). 
❹ To fast the month of Ramadhan (if there is
nothing Islamically preventing you). 
❺Pilgrimage to the Ka’bah if you are (financially)
able.  
 
 ‫​ا ٕ ن ؟‬ ​ ​/‫س‬

with the tongue, and actions with the limbs. Imaan

❺ Belief in the Day of Judgment
➏ Belief in the Divine (preordained) decree of
Allaah, the good of it and the bad of it (that He
allows to happen out of His Divine Wisdom).

QUESTION​: To Whom do we slaughter and prostrate 
to? 
ANSWER​: For Allaah alone, without any partners for 
Him.

QUESTION​: Is it permissible to slaughter and 
prostrate for other than Allaah?
