These new compressors are exchangeable with the former ones as assembly with their
own electrical boxes and starting devices.
The new plastic drip tray is available under P/N 660755 00 and it’s exchangeable with
former one with partial modification of the plastic drain hose.
The new plastic drip tray will be supplied in place of former one as soon as we’ll run
out of stock.

This new PC Board & Sensors Kit, that works in the same way of the current standard
one, allows the correct operation of the MV Series even when water is very soft and/or
de-mineralized, like the one coming from the Reverse Osmosis water treatment system.
The major components of the new PC Board & Sensors Kit are:
Some of these PC Board & Sensors Kits have been installed on some MV units already
installed in the field for test.
The new PC Board is equipped with a DIP Switches for the proper setting of the unit as
detailed here below:

is composed by:
660699 00
660700 00
620483 03
620483 00
To allow the installation of the new Membrane Switch Dispensing Panel on the old
machines, a retrofit kit is available under Part Nbr 060613 00 and it is supplied already
pre-assembled as shown on the photo below.
The new Membrane Switch is studied to support up to 1 million pushes to each of the
four Switches.
Once we will run out of stock of the former Dispensing Board, we will automatically
supply the new retrofit kit.

the control box has been changed in most of the electric components as well as in its
wiring connections.
Moreover, in addition to the electrical components used till now, there are two time
delay relais to:
as well as a 3-phase monitoring relay on the power in a drum rotation electronic control
board (it operates using the Hall effect sensor/principle as done on our Flaker
machines).
In case the drum is not rotating at all (or it rotates too slow - lees then 1/4 turn every
30"), the new electronic control board trips off the entire machine so to avoid that, in
case of breakage of the fiber keys, the drive motor/gear reducer and compressor can
operate with the drum off.
Attached you can find a short presentation of the operation of components of the new
control box as well as the new wiring diagram.
Starting from November 2005, all the MAR Split as well as the MAR 205-305 will be
equipped with this new control box.
The spare list of the MAR 55-75-105-125 control box in Internet will be soon modified
accordingly.

the bottom shaft of the auger is now equipped with a groove and a small O Ring Part
Nbr 640041 34, in order to increase the friction with the inner ring of the lower bearing
as shown on the attached photo/drawing.
The friction made by the O Ring, assures the correct/proper transmission of the rotation
to the inner ring of the lower bearing.
The new augers are perfectly exchangeable with the former ones in all the above listed
machines and are available under the same part nbrs:
Compared with former Dorin compressor, the new Bitzer Model 4DC-5.2Y is much
more quiet/silent and less vibrating with the vantage of much less vibrations transmitted
to the unit frame as well as to the refrigerant system.
The new compressor can be installed in place of former one with some modifications on
the refrigerant system.

Failing in doing it there is the possibility that compressor contactor coil can stay
energized, even with the machine OFF, keeping the compressor running.
With this simple cable, installed directly to the Jumper J1 of the PC Board, it's possible
to made a diagnosis of the correct operation of the probes as well as of the entire
machine as detailed on the attached instructions.
MV 300 – 450 – 600 – 800 - 1000
TESTING CABLE USE
1. Turn the unit OFF
2. Drain water from water reservoir till the two metal plates of the water level sensor are no longer in contact
with water
3. Plug “testing cable” to its male socket “J1” with transparent plug cover facing down
