NUMBER OF STUDENTS: average of 35 students

COMMUNICATIVE PURPOSES: Reading and Speaking about family context


STANDARD COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE (CEFR): (Complete about Speaking and Reading A1 standard): The students
know the alphabet and are able to use when they need to spell their names. The students know useful phrases to say hello every day, they are able to introduce
themselves, the students are able to answer simple questions like, what`s your name? How old are you? Where do you live? Where do you study? Finally the students
know and understand the numbers from 1 to 50.

BASIC LEARNING RIGHTS: (Colombian Ministery of Education): (Complete about Language standard).
 I understand when the people is speaking English and I can answer their questions very quickly.
 I follow the instructions related to activities in the class directed by my teacher.
 I show comprehension of questions asked about my family and my environment

TOPIC: Family

MATERIALS: Hobbies and readings about feelings and emotions to be used every day. Daily routine and introduce their families.

DESIGN OF THE CLASS

WARMING UP: (15 min.) The student will create flash cards the different greetings used every day, the students will work in couples and every couple will show to the
rest on the class how to use them. The students will create a poster explaining the personal daily routine and things that they like or dislike.
Finally they will draw different subsets on their notebooks and they will be able to count them one by one in English.

family. Family ask some questions about it. Make students create a roleplay and show them how to
practice one by one the daily routine and the greetings.
