SYNOPSIS

PROJECT TITLE: STUDENT RESULT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Description of the project:


 The Project Student Result Management System includes registration of students, storing their results into
the system, The software has the facility to stores the details of every student results automatically.
 The Student Result Management System can be entered by using a valid username and password. It is
accessible by an administrator or Other Users. Only they can add data into the database.
 The interface is user-friendly.
 It deals with the collection of Student’s information, and Result data, etc.
 Earlier it used to done manually. The main function of the system is to register and add student scores
details and retrieve these details as and when required.

Project perspectives:-
 This project gives the procedural approach how a Student can see his/her Result, details about date of
Examination.

Project Functions:-
Student Result Management application will perform the following major function:-
 Result View
 Register and Store Student Score details
This software will help to keep the information in efficient and systematic way.

Goals:
 It is the user friendly application for School/College which reduces the routine work and manual works
and helps to manage Students Result..
Purpose:
 The Software is for the automation of Student Result Management.
 It maintains two levels of users:-
 Administrator Level
 Other User Lever

Scope:-
 It can be used in any School/College for maintaining Students Score details and their Tests results.
 Information about Student is done by just inserting the Student Register Number, name, Course,Date of
Birth.
 Result Grade will generated by recording grade details.
 Result information of Students is generally recorded on the database, which contains Student Score
information.
 All this work is Entered by the Admin and other other staff.

Proposed System:-
In Proposed System, Admin Can Add and Modify the Student Records as per requirements. The Student details can
be easily maintained in this System.
Existing System:-
Student Result Management currently use a manual system for the maintenance of Student Academic Score
information. The current system requires numerous paper forms, with data stores spread throughout the system.
Advantages:-
 It is fast, efficient and reliable
 Avoids data redundancy and inconsistency
 Application-based
 Very user-friendly
 Easy accessibility of data

Disadvantages:-
 The total software is manual
