SYNOPSIS: This course covers the chemical engineering calculations, fundamental principles of
material and energy balance and problem solving techniques.
LEARNING OUTCOME:
CLO1: Define and analyze the conservation equations for a given process
CLO2: Interpret available data and apply appropriate equations for determination of flow rates, compositions
and temperatures in a process flow sheet
CLO3: Perform material mass and energy balance calculations for a given process
