This course provides participants with in-depth understanding of the EMC Isilon scale-out
Storage platform. In this course, features and functionalities of Isilon clusters are covered in
detail, and reinforced with practical demonstrations. Topics include the OneFS file system
and its presentation of SMB, NFS, HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) to clients; Cluster
security, Performance monitoring tools and Data replications. In-depth software
information around SyncIQ, SnapshotIQ, SmartConnect is also addressed.
