A. Motivation
Short story
“Before we start our lesson, I have here a short story to
tell and its title is Isha and Her Big Eyes.
But before we start, let us read first the guided
questions.” (The class will read the questions.)

Guided questions:
1. Who is the character in the story?
2. What is Isha’s doing all day?
3. What happened to Isha’s eyes after her mother
told her to sleep early?
4. Why do you think it happened to her?
5. What do you think is the moral lesson in the
story?
(The teacher will now tell the story.)
(Afterwards, the teacher will ask the students using the
guided questions.)

B. Presentation

“Very good! Our lesson for today is all about the safe
and responsible use of audio and video conferencing
tool.”
But first, let us discuss what video and audio
conference is. Can you please read the paragraph? (The pupil will read the paragraph.)
(Calls one pupil to read the paragraph.)

Audio and Video Conferencing


-is also called as teleconferencing wherein two or more
people can see, hear, and talk to each other using
computer networks to send audio and video data in real
time.

Examples:

“Which one in these example you are familiar with?


“Okay. Who has Facebook account here by the way? “Messenger or skype, Ma’am.”
“Wow! That’s great! Because Facebook has a (Some students will raise their hands.)
messenger.”
“So, how do you become familiar with that? “Because I’m using it to video chat and communicate
with my family and friends who are far away from me,
Ma’am.”
“Yes! We are already doing video conference
whenever we communicate with our family or friends
through video chat.”

Here are the ways on how we can show our safe and
responsible manner in using the audio and video
conferencing tool:

3. Keep your password safe; do not give away.
4. Be careful in sharing your personal
information.
5. Do not make untrue remarks that embarrass
others.

conference.
7. Talk and share ideas with them that are related
to the discussion.
8. If a conference is being recorded, all participants
should consent to this in advance and should be
reminded of the fact during the conference.
9. Conference participants may hold individual
intellectual property rights in any recording and
may wish to have control over how it is used.
10. If you are the moderator, post the rules for the
participants: if you are the participant, follow
the rules or netiquette.
11. Respect others and treat them the way you
would be like to be treated.

C. Developmental lesson

Guides in doing a video conference: (The students are reading the instruction and are

group partners through a video chat.

5. To enable the video chat, click the camera and
microphone in the chat box that will appear on
the right side of the screen of the messenger.
6. Communicate with your group partner through
video chat in deciding who will be the
representative of the group.
7. The representative will pick a piece of paper
from your teacher and that paper will state if
what situation you are going to have a video
conference.
8. Choose 3 ways on how to use the audio and
video conferencing tool and demonstrate or role
play it through your video conference with your
group partner.
9. You will write those 3 ways on the blank spaces
below this activity sheet. After your role
playing, your representative will report on the
class the 3 ways that you have demonstrated.
10. You will write those 3 ways on the blank spaces

11. Imagine that there is a veil on the center aisle of
the room and you are NOT ALLOW to look at
them. You will ONLY communicate with them
through the video chat.
