UNIS. First, the faculty and teaching assistants must be assured of the number and qualifications, ethics
and ethics necessary to implement the programs, services and activities of the school. This team will
support the school to accomplish its tasks and objectives. The second standard, teachers and support staff

To maintain CIS schools, UNIS needs to constantly train teachers and teaching assistants regularly. An
annual training package will help UNIS not only develop but also overcome errors in the process of working
at UNIS by teachers and teaching assistants. Training also helps improve the relationship between
teachers, tutors and UNIS.
After the TA has understood and learned the values, goals and vision of UNIS, this period will be a
professional training. The main method used in this phase is off the job training. UNIS is proud to affirm
that UNIS is a "professional learning center". UNIS is called a learning center, not just a small training
session. This will be a place for TA to learn and receive professional development opportunities. UNIS
believes that the best teachers are passionate about learning and inspiring others with their own
commitment to personal and professional development. UNIS expects the best for UNIS students so that
UNIS always strives to export training programs for TA's development.
New TA will be supported with training in pedagogical skills. TA at UNIS mostly had teaching experience at
international schools, TA and teachers at UNIS 39% came from the US, 16% came from the United Kingdom
(countries with developed educational culture), 59% have a master's and doctoral degree. Therefore,
training programs at UNIS are primarily to improve the current level as well as to update new trends and
optimal methods of teaching in the world. The first is about raising the level. TA will be taught and taught
by the leading lecturers at the University of Education - Columbia University to convey American
pedagogical skills. TA will only be a support and support student so students can discover and solve
problems on their own. TA will create connections between subjects, especially through language use
throughout the curriculum. Thereby TA will know what skills and processes are based on what is known
about how children and young people develop and learn to create a personalized learning process that
students learn to complement what they learn. Students will directly practice.
Besides, UNIS is a United Nations school, where the nationality of students reaches 61, so UNIS regularly
opens language classes for TA from different countries to help TA access with new languages as well as
improving their own language proficiency. Teachers at UNIS come from 21 different nationalities so that
these complementary language classes will be supported by the UNIS teachers themselves. There is
nothing better than being able to learn a language from a person born in the country of that language. In
particular for English, the TAs will be supported by UNIS to achieve the C2 level according to the European
reference framework.
At the end of the course, TA will have tests on teaching ability, pedagogical skills, test English proficiency
to receive certificates.
This is the final stage of the training. During this period, TAs will be trained in the method of on the job
training and e-learning mainly. UNIS has short lessons, workshops on the school website. TA will register
on the website to learn these lessons. TA, after obtaining the English certificate, will be able to go to the
United Nations International School in New York and some famous primary schools here such as Hunter
University Primary School to be able to learn experience directly in the classroom of these schools. Some
lessons and workshops are currently available on the web such as: Social Thinking (A special one-day
introductory workshop has been customized according to the needs of international schools to introduce
social thinking methods. and practical teaching strategies and frameworks for their educational
environment); EARCOS Workshop (Level 1 Compass Training is a two-day workshop where participants
explore the concept of sustainability with specific emphasis on the role of education and the use of system
thinking to enhance student learning, agency and copyright).
Throughout this training package, TA is also assisted with learning about child psychology, school
psychology to help supplement and help students most effectively. This can create differences and
advantages of UNIS for other international schools.
The rational for training package
UNIS 2020 strategy - "Our value in action" (UNIS, 2019). UNIS Hanoi is committed to providing students by
2020 a world in which all students can excel; a world in which personalized learning and learners are at
the center of their own learning; a world in which the impact of services is intertwined in the story of the
University. The center of education is to train people, want to train well, the trainers must also be good
people. Besides, UNIS has been fully accredited by both WASC and CIS, so everyone has a certain belief in
UNIS. In order to not believe that, UNIS needs to always update the optimal teaching methods and
teachers and teaching assistants need in-depth knowledge. Such a professional training course is essential
to enable UNIS to achieve the proposed strategy more easily.
In today's 4.0 industry, everything changes every day for hours. These training courses will help UNIS
teaching assistants to keep up to date with trends. In current teaching, pedagogical skills are not the only
necessary skills that tutors need. Tutors need to have office computing skills to serve the teaching more
effectively. The lecture with Power Point will be more intuitive, more lively, inspiring student learning.
Preparing lesson plans in Word will help tutors edit or store them more conveniently. Today if you want
to teach effectively, the tutor needs to understand the psychology of the students. If you know what they
want, what you need, your tutor can support them in the best and most effective way.
There are great practical training sessions for UNIS teaching assistants. They can learn from such theory to
reality, to experience the environments with the most modern educational culture in the United States.
This is an opportunity not everyone has.
The training package is not only necessary for UNIS but also for teaching assistants. The training package
will help tutors feel that UNIS is interested in them. When teaching assistants experience the training
package, they are gradually being developed with UNIS. Thus, UNIS will have a teaching assistant team
dedicated to UNIS.
Benefit
It is undeniable that this training package is not only useful for UNIS but also for TA. After training, TA
quality will be improved for UNIS strategy. TA is equipped with essential skills and knowledge to serve the
work: office informatics skills, advanced education methods, foreign language proficiency (directly related
to teaching effectiveness and work work) C2 standard according to European reference.
As the level of TA increases, they will create the confidence of their parents for UNIS. Help the UNIS cucar
strategy path in 2020 be shortened. The training package will give UNIS a long-term benefit. When
teaching assistants see UNIS support extremely beneficial to their work, they will want to stay with UNIS
longer. UNIS will create a long-time and veteran TA team for themselves. Once there is a long-term team,
UNIS will save training costs.
Conclusion
In order to realize UNIS 2020 strategy, their starting from improving staff is an accurate step. This training
plan is optimized exclusively for multilingual language teaching assistant, close, most supportive for
students. Through this, TA will be supported with the most necessary tools for teaching. This also helps
increase the quality of UNIS. The increasing quality of UNIS education will also contribute to Vietnam's
education, Vietnamese students studying at UNIS will receive the most modern education, highly qualified
teachers.
