Annual Day Script Feb 2019

Anchor-1: A VERY Good afternoon ! Ladies and Gentleman!, The galaxy of intellectuals, your Excellency,
invited guests, teachers and my dear friends – how different is this afternoon . Dear audience, you will
yourself discover as the colours of cultural feast unfold !

It’s an honour itself to honour this beautiful audience who has gathered here.

Well, my first and foremost duty - On behalf of the whole ducklings family, we warmly welcome you all
to this beautiful programme our 3rd ANNUAL DAY …..I assure u that this program shall be full of
exuberance and excitement, and will create some beautiful memories for all of us……it is rightly said
“Days are not lost when memories are created”….

Felicitation of chief guest

We feel so honored to have with us today Mr Abhaa Tupe sir as our chief guest who is the renowned
corporator of our area and famous social worker. We are so thankful to him for being here in his busy
schedule and taking out his precious time for our school .

Mother Saraswati, the Godess of knowledge.

In honor of our Indian soldiers , who have served our country selflessly and Became saviours in Pulwama

Welcome note by nursery kids

Now I would like to call upon our little angels from nursery class to give a warm and sweet welcome to all
of you present here .

The students name are Sujita, Vrushti, and Samruddhi

Wow what a warm and innocent welcome by our nursery kids . Isn't it .....

Anchor-2 : School! School is practice for the future, and practice makes us perfect.The temple of
education with fun. On every Blade of grass there is an angel sitting, saying time and again. Grow! Grow!
Thus every school has its own motto and to achieve it our team contribution is remarkable. So to present
a brief Agenda about the school . :- On behalf of our ducklings family we would like to call Priyanka mam
for the Annual report .

Well, here you are. Today, we will have rainbow of programs to entertain ourselves with the enthralling
performances of our participants.

Performance 1

:- The real self of an artist lies in art, so when an artist performs, all the pain, trauma and tension
get released through art, be it dancing, painting, singing, writing, or martial arts.Today, we have rainbow
of culture program performances performed by our sweet little champs and prepared under the able
stewardship of our teachers.

:-

:i can feel that –the heart beats have gone up and everyone is eager to sink into the depth of music ,
song, lights, and joy.

So without taking much of your time, permit us to start the program.

We will start our event today with the blessings of Lord ganesha with Ganesh vandana by our school
annual day choreographer Ms Gayatri and her students.

So , now to welcome you all our little champs from playgroup class is waiting since long ………….So put
your hands together to call upon globalities from the crawling caterpillars of playgroup class our little
angels .

The participants are...nitya, pranay ,Kanak, Swara, Shreeyanshi, Shrutika and Utkarsh .

That was indeed a warm welcome and a lovely dance performance.

Now we will move on to our next Performance

:As we all know - Today's annual day theme is retro to metro so be ready to go in 1950s to 2019 era.

We will be starting our performances from 1950s and 60s songs.

The 50's and 60's era of Hindi Cinema holds a special place in our hearts. The cinema of the 50s is
marked with a distinct voice of the country just free from the clutches of a 200-year foreign rule. Spirits
were running high and there was a taste of revolution in the air. These were the glorious years of some
of the landmark films in history, which went ahead to gain national and international fame.

. Be it the charismatic Dev Anand who serenaded his heroines with soulful songs, the enchantress
Madhubala with the most beautiful smile that had many heroes forget lines for they couldn't take their
eyes off the celestial beauty or the ever romantic Guru Dutt whose cinematography made us watch films
with a different lens. This, along with many more reasons why the 50s and 60s era of Hindi Films will
inspire us till time immemorial. That's why we call them Sadabahar.

So Welcome our kids from Jr and sr kg who will dance on our famous actors songs such as Rajkapoorji
and nargisji, devanand and Nutan , mumtaaz and Helen .
The participants are: Ajmal , aradhya ghadge , Sanvi, Shivraj, rajnandini and Pranav .

So that’s our old song memories , hope u all have gone to 1950s and 60s.....era.

Performance Lazy dance

Now what is next…….u all must be thinking the same…..am I right?

So hold your breath as the little ones is coming again to take your heartbeat again…

.pls welcome our nursery kids for taking you all in our 60s and 70s songs and will do lazy style of dance
on it.

The participant are Stephen, Vallabh , Reyansh , Shaurya, Raghuraj and vivid .

Prize distribution

- Globalites have proved their talent in all streams and to appreciate them for their hard work is our duty.
Now it’s time to acknowledge the talents of our blooming buddies by beginning the prize distribution
ceremony for playgroup and nursery class. We will have prize distribution for Jr and sr kg kids after few
more performances.

Performance 4....drama

Everyone sitting here must have seen the most famous

Movie Sholay for sure .

It is one of the most iconic films of Bollywood. It has taught some very important lessons of friendship,
love and being faithful. The film starred some of the biggest actors of the ‘70s - Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya
Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Sanjeev Kumar and Amjad Khan.

So ,Come with me to the theatre of life. Now kids of sr kg are going to show the most famous and iconic
scene of sholay movie which you all will surely enjoy . The participants are Pranav as samba , Sonakshi ,
Rajnandinini , Pranjal and Shambhavi and Sanvi.

Wow ! incredible. The little buddies really held everyone captive & creative. Well done kids !

Performance :

Now its time for some surprises .......

So we would like to call upon all moms today in their retro getup. All.moms pls come on the stage . Pls
be sportive like your kids.....u kids are performing on stage without any fear ....so to be their role model
pls come on stage .....common moms.

Performance 7…..barbie girl

Do you know the famous international songs on which every person can't restrain themself from dancing
. so welcome our pretty barbie girls from nursery class to show their moves.

The participants are Samruddhi, Sujita, anushri, Vrushti,Kirtana, Gatha and Aashvi

:-That was indeed a mind blowing performance. Kids are totally in the mood of masti .

So what is next.......

Performance 8; Disco
In the 80s and 90s post the hippie movement across as the world, saw a disco movement, with
mainstream cinema in India incorporating elements from the same.With movies like ‘Disco Dancer’
making it to Bollywood, a disco revolution was underway with themes, visuals and music with a vibrant,
colourful and energetic feel . Whether it was hippie headbands or shiny lights with loud colours and
flared bell bottoms, the get up of performers in these disco songs were natural complements to the
synth-heavy catchy beats of disco songs that found resonance among many across the world at the time.

With words such as “Toh jhumo, toh nacho, Aao mere sath nacho gao” from ‘Disco Dancer’ we call upon
our sr kg girls to show thier disco moves .

. The participants are Shambhavi, Sonakshi , Sanvi, Pranjal , and rajnandini

Wow that was a mind blowing performance .

:- Dancing in all forms cannot be excluded from the curriculum all noble education; dancing with the
feet, with ideas, with words.

:- This performance showed that talent and effort are nothing without focus and determination.

Performance : 9 : dialogue dance

Now we will move forward to our 20th century , which is our kids century .

I will like to call upon our Jr kg kids to dance on the famous songs of 2000 to 2010.

The participants are Mukta , Aradhya Jagtap, Aaditi , Varad , Aradhy jagdale and Tanish

talent. From this we will have the winners of retro fashion show as best dress up mom and best retro
hairstyle. I will request the judges Mrs chaitrali jain and Vrushali Patil mam to pls judge the fashion
show .

Will like to call upon all daddyies in their retro get up . Pls come on stage sir , no fashion show for u ....so
dont worry ......pls come

It was a mindblowing to have u all on the stage . We all throughly enjoyed Well done parents.

Winners will be announced at the end of the event.

School is the second home for all the children and over the years they develop a sense of belonging to
the school . Today 3 of our children will be expressing their feelings in their own words. Aradhya ghadge,
sonakshi and rajnandini from Ducklings Preschool.

Now i would like to show you all about our journey in the school campus in 2018-19. It consists of all the
precious moments that we have captured during our all types of activities, celebration , picnic ,field trip
and Sports day . Hope u will love and enjoy it .

So we showed u the era of 50s 60 s 70s 80s and 90s .....So now we will show you the songs of now on
which our kids can dance without any instructor too . They listen and sing these songs and dance on it
daily. They just love the fast and furious music of 21 st century and are eager to show you the last
performance of the day. So give them a warm welcome by clapping as they patiently waited till now . So
aala re aala Simbaa aala.....

The participants are : taaksharya , jashith, Srijan, Arvika , arishka, Aarav , swaraj Jagtap , swaraj
dharmadhikari, Kavya and vrinda .

Wow give them a huge round of applause .

Now its time to recognise and award the achievers .

So first of all I would like to call upon Our most dedicated teacher of Ducklings who is awarded as " u R
star " Roopa mam pls ..come on stage . really she is a star performer in my staff and a great person.
Ducklings is lucky to have u mam . I would like to.add this that Roopa mam is with Ducklings since 3 years
since 2016 .

Now we will call our Jr and sr kg kids .

:- There is never an end but always a new beginning of a new thing. Thus to conclude for today I would
