This document is a compromise agreement between Dax Xenon V. Sala and Vicente Soria regarding a vehicular accident involving their vehicles. Sala, the owner of a Toyota Avanza, and Soria, the owner of a Honda Dash motorcycle, agree to absolve each other of any criminal, civil, or administrative liabilities from the accident in exchange for a payment of 10,000 pesos from Soria to Sala. Upon execution of this agreement, both parties agree to drop any legal proceedings regarding the incident and request the release of the impounded motorcycle.

COMPROMISE AGREEMENT

This Agreement executed this ___________________________ at Sogod, Southern


Leyte, Philippines by and between:

DAX XENON V. SALA, Filipino, of legal age, married with address at Brgy. Punong,
Tomas Oppus, So. Leyte, owner of a Multipurpose Utility Vehicle (Toyato Avanza) herein
referred to as the “First Party”;

-and-

VICENTE SORIA, Filipino, of legal age, married, with address at Brgy. Iba, Malitbog,
Southern Leyte, is the owner of a black and white motorcycle (Honda Dash) presently
impounded at the Tomas Oppus Municipal Police Station, hereinafter referred to as the
“SECOND PARTY”;

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, in view of the vehicular accident involving the two vehicles owned by the
FIRST and SECOND PARTY, on or about 9:00 in the evening, more or less, of November 15,
2019 at Brgy. Punong, Tomas Oppus, Southern Leyte, which resulted to the damage of the
bumper and tail light of the vehicle owned by the First Party;

WHEREAS, the parties accept the incident as purely accidental and in order to buy
peace and wish to avoid protracted litigation in this untoward incident hereby agree as follows:

(1) That, in consideration to the amount of Ten Thousand Pesos (P 10,000.00),


the FIRST PARTY hereby agrees to absolve the SECOND PARTY from
any criminal, civil, or administrative liabilities arising from the said
vehicular accident;

(2) That, the SECOND PARTY made this as his voluntary obligation for the
fulfillment of this agreement, and by virtue of these presents, paid the
amount in full upon the execution of this agreement, and the FIRST PARTY
hereby acknowledges to have received it in full;

(3) That, the Parties agree that upon the EXECUTION of this Compromise
Agreement, the parties absolve themselves from any suits or proceedings in
relation from the said incident, and request the Tomas Oppus Municipal
Police Station for the release of the motorcycle involved in the said incident;
and

(4) That, the foregoing covenants are not contrary to law, morals, or public
policy and the parties bind themselves to comply faithfully and voluntarily
their undertakings.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, parties herein affixed their signatures on the date and place
above written.
