these pages. Continue to study. I see improvement every week! Keep up the great
work! Mean, mode, median, and range are difficult concepts for third graders to grasp. I
have used techniques in class that have helped the students grasp understand these
concepts better. Encourage them to use these strategies at home using manipulatives,
i.e., cereal, candy, coins, etc. There will be a vocabulary quiz on Tuesday. Study the
half-page handout with definitions that went home last week. We will have a test
Thursday on mean, median, mode, and range. Check assignment tablet nightly for

The students seem to be grasping the importance of homework and studying and are working hard to complete
