It has been observed by the committee chair that there where seminars, drills and community awareness programs that has been conducted to
prepare the community in time of disasters.. But there is something missing none of this drills tackles and caters on how to respond to the
different disabilities. Of persons with disabilities. In time of disaster so the disaster prepared ness committee of IAPWD Inc. Has came up with
this report that is timely and of concern because of the un explained changes. In weather and natural phenomena’s like earthquakes heavy rains
fire and the latest is the volcanic activity of taal. We think that its better to prepare for what ever phenomena nature has to offer.

Since the persons with disability Inc. Is in connection with the gender and development unit of Cavite state university the committee chair.
Request and recommend to include in our calendar of activity for the year 2020 a seminar training workshop that will specifically respond and
cater to pwds during the time of calamities, disaster, and different types of emergencies.

The primary guest will be the Barangay health committee chair, Barangay health workers and the Barangay tanods of different barangays here
in Indang because they are the first responders during emergencies and disasters. Here we will teach them haw to respond to pwds with
different disabilities. How to respond to call signs of pwds with the use of a flashlight or a whistle. The importance of having an emergency kit
and its content. And the most important thing is how to impart first aide to pwds.

The committee chair also request to include in the event a recognition ceremony during the seminar workshop there we would like to recognize
different BHWs and barangay tanods. Of each and every barangay here in Indang. That gives time and effort to support pwds in there
respective barangays.

This activity hope’s to advocate awareness that during the time of emergencies. the persons with disability most be place in the at most priority
in there response time.

The Indang Association of Persons with Disability Inc. Have been monitoring and observing different weather conditions
broth about by climate change and natural disasters that occurred an expectedly, like the long awaited explosion of taal volcano that know one
could predict that it would happen. January 12 2020. That Couse kayos to the province of Batangas ,Cavite and Laguna. This event has
affected all of us. So in line with this phenomena. Awareness and preparation for disasters and emergencies. Have been the primary concern for
our sector the pwds of Indang. So IAPWD INC OF INDANG have put up a disaster preparedness committee that would focus on giving out
numerous ideas that would help our sector the pwds to prepared for what ever disaster, emergency, or calamity nature has to offer. This way
the pwds of Indang would be less of a burden to rescuers and responders in time of emergencies.. For this reason the committee on disaster
prepared ness has came up of an idea of having a whistle and a flash light for pwds to server has there Sandata on Sakuna. By the use of this
tools rescuers and responders on the time of disaster would be able to locate quickly and respond faster to pwds in there present condition in
time of rescue All that is needed is to teach pwds on how to send out distress signals or call signs by the use of a whistle or a flashlight. That is
why we would like to ask your good office to please once again extend your help and support to Pwds by giving out and providing the whistle
and flashlight to all registered pwd members of the association and please do include a set of first aid kits that would came in handy during the
time of disasters and emergencies. And may it be possible for you to send out a proctor or teacher from municipal emergency response unit of
indang to teach us pwds in giving out call signs or distress signal. We hope by doing this the Pwds of indang would be ready and prepared for
what ever calamity nature has to offer. And that we may be of help in time of crisis than a burden to others.

 Disaster preparedness evaluation report for 2019

Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Catalino de Tores ng Buna lejos. Sa taong 2019 ay nagsagawa sila ng inspeksiyon sa mga paaralan ng indang hingil
sa kaayusan ng pangunahing daanan , pasilyo at palikuran. Upang malaman kung ang mga ito ay madaling magamit at madaanan ng mga
may kapansanan. Sa taon ding ito ay hiniling din niya na magpasa ng larawan ng barangay hall sa kanikanilang barangay ang bawat
kinatawan ng bawat barangay upang maipakita kung ang istraktura ng bawat isang barangay hall ay aksesable sa mga may kapansanan.

Bilang ng mga tumugon ay nasa 20 barangay.

Sa taong ito iminungkahi ni Catalino de Tores na magkaroon ng wheelchair sa PDAO OFFICE para magamit sa panahon ng emergency.

Subalit sa kanyang pagpanaw ilan sa kanyang munkahi ay dina naisakatuparan.

Gaya ng drills kung may lindol na nakatuon sa pwds at ang implementasyon ng batas pambansa 344 o accessibility law dito sa indang.

panahon ng kalamidad.

f. Makinig at umunawa sa bawat sitwasyon ng bawat barangay rep. Isa isip na ang angkop sa iyo ay maaring hindi angkop
sa iba kaya laging ibukas ang mga pagiisip sa mga opiniyon at ulat ng mga kasama.

ROLE AND FUNCTION TO IAPWD INC.

BRIEF HISTOTY:

THE INDANG ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY INC. LEAD BY MR FLORIAN DE BORJA IN 2019 HAVE BEEN
OBSERVIÑG NUMEROUS EVENTS THAT HAS CAUSE IMMIDIATE CONCERN FOR PWDS THE ORGANIZATION HAS OBSERVED THAT DURING THE
TIME OF DiSASTROUS EVENTS. THERE WHERE NO SPECIFIC CONTENGENCY PLANS SET FOR PWDS. PLANS THAT WOULD CATER TO PWDS IN
TIME OF DISASTERS.

That is why IAPWD of INDANG has created a disaster preparedness committee whose main objective is to focus on giving out ideas that would
cater to the needs of pwds in time of calamities and emergencies Couse by man or natural un expected phenomena’s nature has to offer. Here
the committee has to came up with ideas and plans that would help the pwds of Indang to prepare for different kinds of emergencies. And
present each ideas to the body of IAPWD. For the body to deliberate on this ideas see to it, that this ideas are doable efficient and carefully
studied. So that The IAPWD INC President Mr Florian de Borja could present it to the concern agencies of the municipality of in Indang for
proper coordination and better proper Implementation, of such given responsive ideas to help and save the pwds of Indang in time of disasters.

Role of the committee.

The comities primary role is to prepare the pwd community here in INDANG for any disastrous event that may occur anytime remind them of the
importance of being ready at all times, being observant and aware of what is to happen.

Focus on giving out ideas that would be helpful in disaster preparation

Community awareness that would be beneficial to pwds before any disastrous event is to happen.

Function of the committee in the community

1. Check if the common establishments here in Indang is PWD FRIENDLY

2. Check if the common areas here in Indang are accessible for pwds. Areas like terminals schools churches restaurants fast foods and
public market.
3. Check if the public toilets comfort rooms in different establishments and schools are usable for pwds.
4. See to it social services offered by the municipal government is within reach by pwds.
5. Lastly after checking all of this create a recommendation for changes if it is needed.

We as leaders must kept this strength by looking for ways to support and help members. Because until now the organization has not yet given
its members anything substantial All we have given them are routine activities that only satisfice the need to accomplish something and
Promises from those people that tells us that they are with us in words but not in action. We must always remember that all our members may
exist with out the organization but the organization will not exist with out its people.

WEAKNESS : We are all BOSSES and not LEADERS. We must always keep in mind that being a leader is different from being a boss because A
BOSS. gives orders expects each of this orders to be fallowed accordingly with know questions. While a leader listen to his subordinates plans
with his people looks after the welfare of his people lead his people to greatness. Sorry sir/ madam real talk lang! talking to us with a loud voice
produces anger. But speaking to us calmly produces respect listening to your people may give you better judgement to any situation.

COMMUNICATION: TO Manny channels of communications are being use this coz chaos to our fellow officers coz often time what we have talk
about in our regular meeting becomes useless and our meeting becomes a requirement for completion.

Reminding us of our task is good I am thank full for it. But repetitively remanding us I don’t think its good coz I think its a form of spoon feeding
that cause tardiness to our fellow representatives in listening to our regular meetings.

ABRAFF task: are given to representatives sometimes task that are given with out prior notice becomes an issue that cause petty quarrels.

OPPORTUNITIES: the above mention weakness. Now we have the chance to change it by learning to listen to each others opinions.

A side from giving each representatives task to do in there barangay lets give them time to speak out there situation and the 13 bots on

Lets ask one of municipal leaders to join us in our meeting not as a guess but a listener to hear us out once a month every quarter.

During the first quarter of this year some politicians like Resty Vejerano, Ceasar Mojica

Avergel Kasaysayan and Ferdinand Papa. extent end there help to needy pwds in our

Barangay To name a few Mrs melita digo camonay Jonathan Nacelado Donato Cabrera and Mark
Christian Cabrera received there help financially. Also this year pwds ware able to cast there votes in
the mid year election fast and with convenience because of the help of young pleasant ppcrv volunteers
who help locate precinct numbers giving pwds easy access.

Second quarter of this year Kapitan Emilio S Pinpin has extended his support to the NDPRWEEK
celebration held at Cavite state university by sending out kagawad Lita Climacosa to witness the said
celebration. There she learned that the 70/30 ira share of pwds and senior citizen is know longer in
effect As pronounce by mayor Perfecto Fidel and also she was fortunate to see how pwds strived to be a
part of a community ruled and govern by persons with no disability but lucks understanding to other
beings.

As kagawad Climacosa said” oh pipi at binge yung nanalong Miss Ndpr sayang siya ang ganda pa naman
niya.”by her reaction one can feel the concern with sincerity not as a politician but as a mother of a child

Whose lackey to be born with know disability. Because of this and by word of mount pwds in are
barangay slowly earns other peoples respect. Like the case of Mrs Mont ilia where she was “bullied” by
luzviminda a resident in our barangay. The other residence are quick to advise Luz aka VL to stop it.

Since she did not stop pestering Mrs montilia and the leaders of the pwd organization in banaba cerca
was forced to take action on the matter at hand the two parties was called to the barangay to undergo
mediation as conducted by Mr Ronald Manalo and witness by Sales Banega pwd secretary Alma Mojica
Barangay secretary and Percival Mojica pwd representative. After hearing both parties they both agree
to part ways and live each other alone. Giving warning to Mrs VL that if she do not stop her antics
towards pwds the case will be broth to higher authorities.

Third quarter of the year where Pwd membership in banaba cerca began a gain to increase from a
number of 52 the number registered pwds in our barangay has reach 59 because new residences who

Plans to put up a bigasan store in our community for the year 2020. This project aims to help

People in our community to easy access in buying rice for there daily consumption specially

The pwds of Banaba Cerca.

If this project turns out ok the proceeds will serve as our revolving found witch will cater to help the

Pwds in our barangay in time of needs. Like basic transportation allowance in going to the hospitals

Medical assistance in small amounts and burial assistance in time of death by our members.

This project will not only be beneficial to pwds it will also help us to meaning full members of our
community. And may be one day the pwds of Banaba cerca will have a chance to stand in there own to
feet in terms of financial needs thus avoiding solicitations that makes us look like beggars in our own
right.

The pwds may have disabilities that hinders us in competing with normal persons but some of us if not all

May simply need an opportunity to be heard and be employed making us productive members of our
society.

Going back to our propose project the bigasan store for the year 2020 which goal is to generate found to
help the 59 registered members of our group. the group wishes to appeal to you and to your good office
any kind of support that you could give us weather it may be in terms of cash or better yet in kind.

 Kiwanis Event last Oct 26 and oct 29 2019

Evaluation report Barangay Banaba Cerca.

The event that took place last oct 26 2019 held at the new municipal office of Indang Cavite

And is hosted by Kiwanis Indang matatag and Trece martires walang tinag was a success.

I and my daughter was fortunate to be invited to this kind of event. There we so different cases of pwds

Orthopaedics, mental and physic social cases Children with Ab/Hd cases. And all forms of pwd disability
whose trying to seek an opportunity to be recognize by our community.

Thanks to the organizers and founders of this event, and to the four founders of the Indang association
of persons with disability Inc. Namely Mrs Imelda Filart and Mam Genoveva Angcaya and the leadership
of Mr Florian de Borja. Joined by Kiwanis club of Indang and Trece martires city. The advocacy and goal
of our organization is slowly falling in to place.

The pwds of Indang our great full for this kind of event more than the gifts you gave us is the feeling that
our existence is the almost importance and the feeling that there is a group of people who cares and
appreciate each one of us pwds of Indang is a great memory to treasure.

thousand promise of a politician”

The testimonies of parents whose undertaking in caring for there children who are pwds are heart felt
moving thank you for giving time in listening and seeking for your selves the different conditions of pwds.

Here in Indang hopefully you would keep your doors open for us and our children.

 Accomplishment report for the month of November 2019 meeting

1. Barangay general assembly was conducted last oct 19 2019

At Banaba cerca covered court.

2. Mrs Mailto was invited to join the oct 29 Kiwanis activity at the pdao office
3. Juanita Abrantes continued the house to house registration for the Dec 13 2019

General assembly for pwds.

4. Solicitation letter’s from Ms Angcaya was distributed.

5. Sunong dunong update.

II Results/ out came.

The general assembly for barangay Banaba cerca was conducted where I Val Mojica was invited to
witness Together with Rexmond Crisostomo (pwd) and Sonia Cabrera (Pwd guardian).

There we have learned that the tricycle fare was raised to 14 pesos per head from the previous fare of
10 pesos going to poblacion and 14 pesos going back per head because of this the pwd representative
manifested that the 20 percent discount for pwds be emplemplimented in our barangay. So Mr Lando
Rupido our councillor for transportation acknowledge quickly and ordered the request to be granted.

During the meeting proper Mr Rexmond Crisostomo pwd won 5kilos of rice in the raffle conducted by the
barangay council.

Mrs Malto was able to join the Oct 29 event accompanied by Mark jay Malto Pwd and Ms Merry joy
Malto where according to here she was moved by the testimonies given by the parents.

There hardships where heart felt by her since they have similar situations.

Mrs Abrantes continued the house to house registration for the GA event same with Ms Banega

Members are hopeful that they could attend the event on Dec 13 2019.

Solicitation letters from Ms Angcaya was distributed and Mrs Castillo and Ate Cora

Responded wilfully and with a happy heart. A small amount was given to us in support of the event.

The amount was remitted to Ms Angcaya oct 29 2019.

Regarding your question last meeting Maganda ba na Madami ang pwd sa isang lugar

My answer is this: if we would base it in numbers my answer is no coz less number of pwds

In one place would means a healthier community.

But since the number of pwds in Banaba Cerca increases this is simply the fruit of your advocacy to
bring fort the pwds in the mainstream of society .

Pwds in our barangay slowly understands there right in the community. People in the community slowly
learns to accept there existence giving them opportunity to be one with those persons who has no
disability. Parents of pwds learns to appreciate them more now a days. than to treat them as inutil,
malas at pabigat sa family. Some even realize that kaya naging pwd ang anak nila is because of there

Kapabayaan sa sarili while pregnant.

This development is coz by the existence of the organization that you have put up because of the
organization people learns to respect pwds little by little and pwds learns to accept their situation and

Hopes for a better tomorrow to look up too, like the social pension that the organization is pushing for
pwds in our barangay is hopeful that one day it will be implemented. The law on bullying and vowcy that
the Government has past and implemented this laws benefits the pwds more than the normal person
coz People now are afraid to make fun of pwds un like before” meron na kasing pamunuan ng mga
pwds sa bawat barangay na malalapitan nila to stand beside them in time of need unlike before.”
Nagtatago sila sa loob ng bahay nila kinahihiya ang sarili o natatakot lumabas.

And how did this happen and come to there knowledge its because of your advocacy and the leadership
of the Organization that people came to realize that pwds are human beings too. they too have a right
in our society.

I know its a long way to go for us to be equal to our contemporaries but at least you’ve started it

And now like a mustard seed that you have planted 2011 the seed is now sprouting out to be a plant.

Simple benefits like the sunong dunong, the 20 percent discounts on medicine are much more
appreciated. Government employees now respects pwds more than the rich old guy. Express lane in
groceries, mrts and lrts are put for pwds not just for senior’s citizens, and more often than not pwds now
a days are much more given priority in same clinics like in doctor Romens clinic and in the Santiago
hospital here in Indang. Info was given to me by one of my member pwd.

Ngo like Kiwanis club and ENV flower farm is now acknowledging the pwds here in Indang. lumber like

Henry enterprises acknowledges the 20 percent discount for pwds Normans store in pob 4 does the
same in grocery items.

But most of all Lenard chashier the non profit organization who have given us the means to start up a
livelihood program this would not have happen if you did not put up this organization and it so happened
that sir kiko knows you its just to bad we haven’t really reach our goal in the livelihood project due to
circumstantial reasons.

Offense: Every man and woman is created by the being that we call God know in-between or no guys

Know trans genders to be exact god created a male being with the ability to fertilize female egg

1.Regarding the Pwd Id renewal I have posted information sheets on the barangay bulletin board,
stores,

School bulletin board and church bulletin board, waiting shades and conducted house to house visit

To some members whose Id is in need of renewal base on the record it was issued on.

2.For the solicitation to be used for the general assembly I have coordinated with the barangay council
for some financial assistance and they have agreed to help us. I have task my treasurer Juanita Abrantes
to make the necessary Fallow ups, when to claim the amount the council have agreed to give us for the
GA on Dec. 13 2019.

I have also task Mrs Abrantes to coordinate with our barangay treasurer regarding our share in the
barangay I R A for this year.

Where we plan to buy at least 7 to 8 sucks of 25 kilos of rice to be distributed to all pwd members in
Banaba Cerca. I have task sales Banega our secretary to conduct un early registration for the general
assembly.

The registration started on sept 25 ends on oct 30 2019 with the order that only those who are willing
and able to attend the ga is to be written. And that only 2 persons per family is allowed to attend the
general assembly. The pwd and his guardian or the pwd himself or his guardian to represent him or her.

As of this time only a few has responded on attending the general assembly.

3.Membership update Banaba Cerca has two new members

2 Melody R Valiente (transfer of residency from Calumpang cerca to Banaba Cerca)

As of this time Banaba cerca has a number of 59 registered pwd ID Holders because of the two new
members.

Due to this development Banaba cerca has now submitted 37 pwd id Xerox and still has a balance of 22
id Xerox copy to complete the number of 59 registered members.
Regarding your question Ano ang ginawa ko last time walang dumalo sa pa meetiñg ko how did the
information get to my members.

My answer is Wala po kasi po marami sa atin ang nag advise at pumuna sa ginagawa kong house to
house dati. The organization also advise to stop the use of social media in information dissemination.

To fallow the organizations order. I have place to rest all efforts that i was previously doing.

Regarding the transportation allowance deductions to those representative who are absent during
meetings, use of miss coloured uniformed during official events and meetings, and failure to do there
officer of the day duty.

Here is my suggestion:

1.We are using the deduction process to invoke discipline to our fellow representative. for us to do the
assigned task. Since its not an effective approach lets use the incentive process Instead. This way it might
motivate each one of us in a positive manner. the amount deducted to those representatives who fails to
do there assigned task will be given to those who does there task. So the organization would set a
criteria to determine who deserves the incentive.

In case of a tai the amount collected will be divided equally.

This incentive could be given quarterly, or during the NPR Week Celebration for the first six months. And
the next six months during the general assembly celeb this way the organization will have time to collect
the amount and determine who deserves it most.

2. use part of the amount collected to help the representatives who are in need, in a form cash
advance. While waiting for the release of the transportation allowance. Then the cash advance will

Ayon kay ginang Montilla sa kabila ng kanyang pagtangi ay sinabihan padaw siya ni Ginang Barete

Nasayang daw ang 1000 piso na premiyo kung di ito sasali. Ito ang naging dahilan kung bakit siya
