do they have in common? ( USE OF ELECTRICITY)

Today, you will learn how to make a lampshade using a


simple circuit. Let us identify its parts. (Teacher shows a
lampshade and dismantles it to show its parts).

3. Importance of simple circuits


An electrical circuit is device that uses electricity to
perform a task, such as run a vacuum or power a
lamp. Despite being considered simple, it is useful
and quite common. It exists as flashlights, doorbells,
and many kitchen appliances.

b. Assemble the upper portion of your lampshade by
boring holes and fixing the receptacle at the top of
the post.
d. Insert the wire into the base of the lamp and the

prepared decorative materials.
f. Attach the bulb, preferably a colored bulb to the
socket.

Call one or two students to re-demonstrate the proper way
