Script: Wych Elm House / Bella
Int Hallway of an abandoned building. afternoon.
Jason - wearing baggy clothing, looking feminine for a guy e.g
long hair etc, is standing next to Dani - who looks like she
hasn’t seen the sun in months.
Jason runs off down the hallway to the first open door he
sees, entering the room Jason sees a big almost black wooden
trunk, he gets curious and walks towards it eagerly opening
it, until he sees what’s inside. Jason retches a couple of
times before throwing up next to the trunk. We get a momentary
version of Jason’s view Dani’s dead body, Jason slams the
trunk closed and Dani appears in the doorway. Upon noticing
Jason has thrown up Dani asks “what’s wrong?” Jason seemingly
doesn’t hear her and opens the trunk again, expecting the
worst. Upon seeing an empty trunk Jason slams it closed again,
in shock, and walks back into Dani, Jason jumps out of
shock/fear and screams like a really girly scream. They walk
out, towards the exit together, Dani supporting Jason’s
bodyweight. Dani explains “if … No, when Freddie realises I’m
gone he’s going to kill me” Jason’s only reply is “dump that
asshole already” Dani sees Freddie’s motorbike, says “he’s
here”, drops Jason, who falls to the floor, and runs out the
exit, towards the woods, Dani runs through the woods,
breathing heavily and stumbling every so often over twigs and
tree roots. She bumps into the back of someone, stopping her
in her tracks, she mumbles out a soft ”sorry” before walking
back, towards a tree, the ‘someone’ turns around and reveals
themselves to be Freddie, wielding a knife. “Hello Daniella”
his voice is gruff and obviously angry. Dani starts shaking
with fear. “Why are you out here, Dani?” Dani lets out a shaky
breath before saying “we need to talk” (a telltale sign that a
couple is about to break up) “you weren’t thinking of leaving
me, were you?” Freddie seems angrier, he starts advancing,
forcing Dani to go further back, until she hits the tree with
her back. “Because, if you were thinking of leaving me, you’ll
have to bleed for it” he lunges with the knife, Dani yelps and
jumps back, her back hitting the tree. Freddie lunges again
with the knife, knicking Dani’s thigh, she weeps in pain and
looks for any escape, she starts attempting to scale the tree.
Freddie starts grabbing at her, ripping her clothes and
stabbing at her legs, landing a couple of blows. Dani finally
scales the tree, her legs bleeding heavily and going numb, she
falls into the hollow trunk of the tree, breaking her legs,
she screams in pain and fear as she slowly realises that she’s
doomed.
