from the different client system into a relational table environment that can be accessible for
reporting purposes. A set of reports will be developed against the relational tables to deliver the
information to its customers in the form of PDF files. The data from the different systems will be
extracted into a set of text-based and Graphical reports.

Responsibilities :-

 Correlate the business to technical aspect and come up with high level design to create the
mappings
 Parsing high-level design spec to simple ETL coding and mapping standards.Worked on
Informatica Power Center tool - Source Analyzer, Data warehousing designer, Mapping &
Mapplet Designer and Transformation Designer
 Creation of Informatica Workflows, sessions and Run that Sessions to load into Target and
Debugging, Unit Testing of Mappings
 Designed and developed Informatica Mappings to load data from Source systems to ODS
 Extensively used Power Center to design multiple mappings with embedded business logic
 Creation of mappings with the transformations like Lookup, Joiner, Rank and Source Qualifier

database

Project:-1
Project : Business improvement management EDW(BIM EDW)
Client : Plan view enterprise,US
Role : ETL Developer
Duration : April 2015 to June 2017

Project description:-
Closed-loop feedback enables business units to survey customers (Agents, policy holders) after a defined
interaction. It also sends alerts to business unit managers to contact customers and agents who meet
predefined survey criteria to gather additional feedback, identify issues and provide solutions. Third
party vendor manipulates a variety of data feeds from Plan View Enterprise to send surveys, alert
managers, capture closed-loop feedback and provides a reporting portal. Business lines import raw data
from third party vendor to provide quality reporting. Housing data within Plan View Enterprise data
warehouse (EDW) will allow for in depth analysis down to the policy /Agent level detail and cross
functional analytics. In today s current environment, the business does not have the unique data keys to
tie closed-loop feedback and current EDW data. In addition, it gives lines of business access to the data
in their platforms and enables them to integrate this data into their reporting and processes.

Responsibilities:-

 Extensively used ETL to load data from Oracle database, My SQL , DB2, Excel sheets, flat files to
different target systems.
 Expertise with connected and unconnected transformations like look up , Stored procedure ,
aggregator , Expression transformations.
 Created informatica mappings with PL/SQL procedures/functions to build business rules to
load data.
 Worked with the flat files in both the direct and indirect methods and also worked with XML
files.
 Used the techniques like Incremental aggregation, Incremental load and Constraint based
loading for better performance.
 Created Reusable Transformations, mapplets, Sessions and Worklets and made use of the
Shared Folder concept using shortcuts wherever possible to avoid redundancy.
 Understand business process and draft technical design documents based on the functional
documents.
 Involved in the development of Informatica mappings and also tuned the session for better
performance by implementing the pre/post-load stored procedures for target optimization.
