JOB DESCRIPTION:
PUMPS:

Centrifugal pump, gear type, startup and , lube oil level maintenance,
water cooling supply, vibration check, mechanical seal check, oil viscosity
check, suction and discharge pressure checkup, filter and strainer operation,
trouble shooting, etc. involved in centrifugal Pumps overhauling mechanical
seal changing, assembling and aligning the pump by Reverse dial indicator
method,

RECIPROCATING PUMP:
Involved in repair such as plunger changing, diaphragm
changing, check valves changing, and packing changing activities. Experience in
maintenance of plunger pumps, chemical dosing pump, and doublex triplex.
Pumps and methanol injection pump, etc. Experience in assembling and
dismantling of pumps

ALIGNMENTS:
Experience in alignment of pumps and compressors, motors and etc.
Laser Alignment, Reverse Indication (Graphical) Alignment and Rim
and face Alignment.

ENGINE:
Worked on complete overhaul and trouble shooting of diesel engine
and testing for the same ideal and load conditions. Changing cylinder head per
lube pump, check valve lash, etc. Maintained the required clearance on their
major parts such as connecting, bearing, piston pins etc.

MECHANICAL SEALS
Worked on all types of seals including single, double and tandem
seals, single spring and multi-spring, Bellow type and proper rectification of the
same.
STATIC EQUIPMENTS :
Maintenance on such items of Plant and equipment as alternators, fans,
boilers, vessels, columns, heat exchangers, storages tanks, loading arms,
flares, filters, valves, etc.

Uses a variety of tools and measuring devices, such as wrenches,


pneumatic tools, high pressure jetting and drilling equipment, grinders,
calipers, feeler gauges, micrometers, verniers, clock gauges, dial indicators,
torque wrench, etc.

Dismantling of various static and rotating equipment, the repair, the


equipment reassembly and the re commissioning.

HEAT EXCHANGERS:
Having experience in shell and tube (single and multi tubes)
exchanger. Involved in maintenance and repair of tube, nozzle baffle plates,
spool piece etc. hydro testing of shell and tube heat exchangers(Floating tube,
Fixed tube, U tube) and plate exchangers. Also worked on Fin-Fan coolers for
changing the blade angle and replacing the motor etc.

VALVES:
Service and operation inspection of all types of valve like Ball valve,
Globe valve, Plug valves, Gate valve, Butterfly valve, Diaphragm valve, Non
return valve (Flab type & Plate type valve), Piston type NRV Automatic
Pneumatic Actuators control valve in utility department.
Strainer and Filters:
Cleaning and replacing of pump suction strainers and Filters.

RESPONSLITIES:

 Routine checking of all plant rotary and static equipment like pumps,
compressor
 Doing field mechanical jobs as per instruction of higher authority.
 Keep all work permit like Hot and Cold work permit doing the job for safe
work
Involve job in field equipment maintenance and maintain good house keeping
