RESOLUTION NO. 2020-03-01

A RESOLUTION USING PURCHASE ALCOHOL, SOAP AND VITAMINS TO AFFECTED FAMILIES OF THE
VIRUS COVID-19.

WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 10742 also known as the
“Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015” provides such funds shall be disbursed in accordance with
the provisions of RA 10742, this IRR, RA 7160, RA 9184 and such other pertinent rules and regulations.;

WHEREAS, Section 20 (b) of RA No. 10742, the SK shall have financial independence in its operations,
disbursements and encashment of their funds, income and expenditures.;

WHEREAS, COVID-19 has been declared as a GLOBAL PANDEMIC.;

WHEREAS, the PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES, PRESIDENT RODRIGO DUTERTE has signed Proclamation
No. 929 declaring State of Calamity throughout the Philippines due to COVID-19.;

WHEREAS, the CITY MAYOR OF LAPU-LAPU, MAYOR JUNARD “AHONG” CHAN has declared a state of
calamity for the CITY OF LAPU-LAPU due to COVID-19;

WHEREAS, To prevent COVID-19 from spreading further it is scientifically proven that the virus can be
killed with 70% solution alcohol and proper hygiene;

WHEREAS, the in quorum hereby constituting below wit:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE to approve and affirm the A
RESOLUTION USING THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAANS’ HEALTH BUDGET OF Php 48,000.00 TO
PURCHASE ALCOHOL, SOAP AND VITAMINS TO AFFECTED FAMILIES OF THE VIRUS COVID-19.
