Unit Assessment Plan: Desired Results

This unit assessment plan aims to foster kindness among students. The goals are for students to explore ideas, comprehend texts, manage information, and collaborate with others. Students will understand that kindness should be shown daily and positively impacts oneself and others. They will learn to present information with clear introductions, middles and conclusions. The unit will assess if students can contribute relevant ideas to discussions, connect their ideas to peers', find more information about kindness, and make connections between texts and experiences. Students will create written and oral works with introductions, middles and conclusions. The goal is for students to help develop a kindness initiative at their school to be implemented after the holidays.
