Eligibility for Interview:


● Must be Native Spanish speaker or have certified C2 level fluency in the Spanish language.
● Must have certified C1 fluency in the English language.

● May not be a U.S. resident, U.S. citizen or have ever applied for a Permanent Resident Card
● Must have a minimum of (2) years of experience as primary school (K-6) teacher.
● Copy of Passport
● Copy of Resume
● Copy of bachelor’s degree diploma in the U.S. (or equivalent from home country university)
● Copy of formal teacher training certification/accreditation, including his/her pedagogical
preparation/training as part of a four-year university program or as an additional year of
formal, full-time university study.

Requirements to continue with Application Process:
● Must have a valid driver’s license in their home country. If the applicant meets the minimum
qualifications, we would need:
● Official University Transcripts - The U.S. Department of State requires the transcripts to be
original documents that are sealed and sent directly from the University (Please note that
electronic version may be accepted if certified and sent directly from the University). If the
University does not offer the service of sending the Official Transcript directly, the applicant can
forward the Official Transcript from the University, making sure it remains in the sealed
envelope. If the Official Transcripts are not in English, the applicant will send the English
translation as well (by an official translator).

Other Required Forms and Documents (to be completed by applicant):


● Professional Reference Forms (three (3) references required; at least one must be from a
colleague, at least one must be from a current or former supervisor)
● Candidate Video Clip (60 - 90 second, MP4 preferred)
● Criminal Record Check (provided by Policia Nacional de Colombia)
● Lesson Plan Submission Form
● Driving History Form
